I LOVE pants that are too large. Kernel sent me a pair of his sweats that are like a men's extra large. They rock my socks.
I hate it when my pants are too large. Worse, mom bought them at JC Penny's, which means I'd have to drive a half hour and fight my way through the mall to exchange them. What bugs me the most is that I specifically ask people not to buy me anything for christmas. Send me money if you fell you have to give me something, but otherwise don't bother. Mom is the only one who doesn't honor this request, and it pisses me off.

I hate anything that's too big for me. I despise baggy clothes.

I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

The first wave of friend loot! I hate opening presents before that person's gotten their present from me, but I did a few times this year because I was told to. :P

Beautiful handmade cat ears from Gil (opened because I already knew what it was)
Something from Kuja which I haven't opened yet (not until he gets my present)
Gift card to Barnes & Noble from Stormbringer
Frederick Fennell CD, of him conducting the Eastman wind ensemble from Dalton (opened already because I knew what it was)
Truffles, 2 AWESOME DVDs (HP3 and Spidey 2!), a delicious Yankee candle, and a fuckin' awesome Tori Amos t-shirt from GR (opened because I was made to)
Beautiful woven scarf and a white gold necklace from Katy
Happy Bunny socks, a naughty keychain and a bottle of Kahlua for NYE from Brandon

Am exchanging gifts with most of my crew later this week.

No one's got any Christmas sex yet have they?

I suppose this constitutes getting in the spirit, so I shall do so.

A very nice and very warm sweater, for use in my freezing house.
The only movie that matters this year to me.
The only books that matter this year to me.
Rome.
A few nice surprises.
A flashlight that doesn't care about batteries or outlets, perfect for the day when the dead walk again.

In all, a wonderful christmas, the books perhaps being the best gifts in the world. Maybe because of all the memories they have with them. I look forward to the time I sit down and read them again.

  • 150€ in cash
  • A bottle of Havana Club Añejo Especial
  • A bottle of Vat 69
  • A bottle of Finlandia Vodka
  • Six bottles of cognac (various brands)
  • A case of Heineken (24 times 33 cl)
  • A case of Olvi Dobbelbock (24 times 33 cl)
  • Two pairs of socks
  • Chocolate
  • An English translation of Kalevala
  • A book about the beers of the world
For some reason my entire family appears to have decided that I am in desperate need of booze... although I do suspect that the cheap bastards have simply passed on various bottles they themselves received as business gifts.

I cleaned up in the game department.
I got

GTA: SanAndreas
Dragonball Z: Budokai 3 (Yeah, yeah. I'm not much of a DBZ fan, but this game is cool.)
Star Wars Battlefront
Robotech Invasion
Ghost Recon 2
Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War
X-Men Legends
WWE: Day Of Reckoning

I also got a new 19" flat screen LCD monitor

But by far the coolest thing I got, was this puppy Here

Didn't get some of it until today:

SW OT DVD set (widescreen, of course)
3 ornaments (?!): TIE Fighter*, Vulcan Command Ship, and some generic blue ball
A very nice pledge of money toward a computer (to be continued in G&C)
$20 cash
$50 gift certificate to Best Buy (I'm thinking maybe I buy at least one computer component from BB)
GCs to Target and Barnes and Nobel
Stuffed animal in stocking along with the cash (these people are so random)
2 hairdryers (this is why I hate it when people ask for lists, they forward them to everyone else and then everyone picks the same item or two)
Plenty of chocolate -varying quality, but I'm happy
Some random crap I threw away - soon to include the stuffed animal
Deck of transparent cards
A Dave Barry book - at some point my Dad noticed me reading his column in the paper and now he gets me Dave Barry books every Christmas. Sure, he's funny sometimes, but I don't like him that much. Actually, he once got me the same book twice in a row. Oh well, it's the thought that counts, and I certainly can't complain.
Silly snowman mug - looks hard to clean
Dilbert 12-month calender
Nice lightweight noise-cancelling headphones and headphone extension cord.
Some random crap I didn't throw away but is obviously not interesting enough to remember.

*Extra-long guns, blueish version but with some coloring errors, proportions were close enough that I didn't notice any problems at a glance. Laser sound effect seemed to be lacking that clackity sound after the loud noticible part.

EDIT: Oh, and sex, but I would've got that anyway.
