Just getting ready, now time for Stargate.

Gah! Tylium . . . what the hell is that? (Yes, I know it was the fuel in the old BSG) Is there anything equivalent to it in real, reality, or is it handwavium unobtanium like dilithium in Star Trek?

I find the religious implications behind the President's hallucinations an interesting plot thread.
Is it a crime to try and learn the truth? Is it a sin to search for those things which you fear? My purpose in this world is knowledge, and the dissemination of it. And it is I who is to restore the fruits of my labors to the entire world. Wake up! Don’t be afraid of knowledge! Humans who loose the capacity to think become creatures whose existence has no value. It's an ancient secret we women have been using on you men for centuries. We wait until the Right Time and just wait for your oh-so-willing donation to the Cause. How else do you think the species have survived?

On the surface or from space? You probably wouldn't see much visual evidence of a nuclear bombardment from space, unless it was really bad. For that matter you probably wouldn't see much terribly much evidence on the surface if you landed far away from any cities or other areas that got bombed (again, unless the bombardment was extremely violent).

As a random question, does anyone have a clue what that weird "gnnk" sound is when the Vipers fire their cannons?

When I see nuclear fireballs clearly visible from space erupting along multiple points on the planet's surface and we know that Caprica city was hit by a 40 megaton device then I can quite reasonably assume that many cities have been reduced to smoldering heaps. The city they've been wandering through (aside from looking distinctly Canadian) was pretty sizeable. Why was it NOT hit during that nuclear blitzkrieg? No signs of nuclear winter like effects, its like everyone simply dropped dead and vanished with no ill effects on the city.

Oh shit, I wonder what that song is...

Is it possible that it could connect to the original series?

No, that song was new. Very Celtic, if you ask me.

People wonder why Enterprise failed? It's because B&B aren't worthy of licking Ron Moore's boots. Best episode so far!
