Just getting ready, now time for Stargate.

Gah! Tylium . . . what the hell is that? (Yes, I know it was the fuel in the old BSG) Is there anything equivalent to it in real, reality, or is it handwavium unobtanium like dilithium in Star Trek?Grand Moff Yenchin wrote:after water problem now it's fuel....What a fucked up fleet....and what a fucked up president.

I find the religious implications behind the President's hallucinations an interesting plot thread.
Is it a crime to try and learn the truth? Is it a sin to search for those things which you fear? My purpose in this world is knowledge, and the dissemination of it. And it is I who is to restore the fruits of my labors to the entire world. Wake up! Don’t be afraid of knowledge! Humans who loose the capacity to think become creatures whose existence has no value. Think, you humans who are split into two worlds! Unless you want the gulf between humans to expand into oblivion, YOU MUST THINK! - Schwarzwald

Me: Nope, that's why I have you around to tell me.
Nitram: You -are- beautiful. Anyone tries to tell you otherwise kill them.

On the surface or from space? You probably wouldn't see much visual evidence of a nuclear bombardment from space, unless it was really bad. For that matter you probably wouldn't see much terribly much evidence on the surface if you landed far away from any cities or other areas that got bombed (again, unless the bombardment was extremely violent).Stravo wrote:You know for a world that was nuked quite thoroughly in the miniseries Caprica looks nice and intact

When I see nuclear fireballs clearly visible from space erupting along multiple points on the planet's surface and we know that Caprica city was hit by a 40 megaton device then I can quite reasonably assume that many cities have been reduced to smoldering heaps. The city they've been wandering through (aside from looking distinctly Canadian) was pretty sizeable. Why was it NOT hit during that nuclear blitzkrieg? No signs of nuclear winter like effects, its like everyone simply dropped dead and vanished with no ill effects on the city.Junghalli wrote:On the surface or from space? No, that song was new. Very Celtic, if you ask me.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:Oh shit, I wonder what that song is...
Is it possible that it could connect to the original series?
