Year's Worst of Moments

Post by Stravo »

In the similar vein as the Best of moments what were some of the worst moments on this board. Be they the appearance of a poster, polls, threads, quotes, fiction, vents, etc. Anything that made you groan and say This is the worst thing that happened to this board.
Wherever you go, there you are.

The Gagme fiasco. 'Nuff said... and on a similar line, the Jenat-lai trouble, too (though I missed most of that).
It's a strange world. Let's keep it that way.

The whole mess where the ATJ was re-organized into the Ubiqtorate and the events which led up to it.

That was the lowpoint for me. Watching the diehards on each side ripping into each other and growing more frenzied and hostile by the day was enough to keep me out of the politics forum.

Worst for me was the combo of IB being away in Utah for so long and ver losing his computer access and being gone for so long.

The Aphrodite contest, Gagme included.
Jenet-Li's meltdown.

The After-math of the election, that was messy.

Bad as the Aphrodite Contest fiasco (including Gagme) was, Jenet-lai's meltdown was both sad and scary.

The Aprodite FUBAR, though I completely missed whatever happened to Jenat-Lai. (By the sounds of it, this isn't something i'd regret.)

When Durandal robbed me of that crown that was so rightfully MINE! RAR! ;)

The aphrodite shit was fucked, as was "nuke the mussies" gagme, but jenat lai was, quite frankly, disturbing. Oh, the drama.

I entirely missed the super gagme fiasco, so I'd say the whole morality of being a soldier mess with Sokuwari. She doesn't conceed anything no matter how logical the arguements are against her. There's no point at all in debating someone like that.

All this stupid fucking drama king bullshit - and I say "king" because males have been the chief perpetrators - collectively qualifies as the worst moment of the year for me. I can't stand this soap opera junk.

What about Zor's reign of terror? Surely the endless stream of time travel vs. threads makes the top ten? :P

Getting suckered into doing what I ended up doing in a certain private forum of which there is a certain military theme.

Damn you people! I didn't come on this board to work!

Speaking of which...I guess I need to start bugging you all about it again.

I thought the Aphrodite Contest might have issues from the moment I saw it. I was right.
