Hate diets

Ok Rant on
Man do I hate diets been on one for about 2 months and only have lost 5 pounds. Worse part is I went from a 17 inch nech to 15.5 inch neck while my stomach has stayed at 37.5 . And of course the military tapes you by comparing your waist to neck to height ratio. I mean had an easier time losing weight while in college went from 270 to 200 but now that I am in the military I can't lose those last 15 pounds I need.

Ok now that I finished ranting does anyone have any ideas. I eat as healthy as possible since I am deployed. I run an average of 15 - 20 miles a week plus spend an additional 5 - 10 hours a week in the gym on top of the running.

Drink extra water... not tooo much extra... But drinking water or tea generally can help too... but am sure you're already doing that.

Diets don't work it's the sad fact.

The onlything that works is healtier eating habbits IE 3times a day, less energyintake and exercise.

thats the thing I eat 3 balanced meals a day and get tins of exercise yet still on that plateau

what type of foods are you eating? changing that might help depending on what you eat.

usally the healthiest food I can find on the chow line. Most time lean meats, fruits, vegies etc. Sometimes though the healtiest food avaible is fried fish it changes from day to day. And since all we have here is the food they serve us we eat it or do without.
