If a chimp appeared one day, somewhat out of the blue and could speak and such, just like Taylor What would our reaction be?

Especially when he starts touting evolution and proving the bible incorrect in parts?

This little ape would defeat one proponent of creationism after another, publically, until one day someone would stand forth, and debate him, and /not lose/. This person would then lead the Christians to new heights of faith, in which they do shocking things like do what Jesus taught.

Oh, who am I kidding, Falwell and Robertson would have them both shot, then burned at the stake, then shot again and buried in a shallow grave outside Las Vegas.

Yeah, Escape From The Planet of The Apes. Probably the best one after the first one.

But they were somewhat exceptional looking Apes, I was thinking a standard chimp or gorilla.

Sadly this is probably true, or if that failed they would resort to sticking their fingers in their ears and going "lalalalalalalalalalaalalalalalala..." Well it's worked for them so far

I know that if I saw him first, I'd buy him a nice six pack of Mike's Hard Lemonaide and force him to watch the powerhouse film Playmate of the Apes. That would show him where the real Ape/human action is.
