A favorite Trekkie argument seems to be mixing and matching special technologies together onto one 'uber vessel'. How would this go for the Empire?

I personally see a cloaked, QC-armoured Eclipse-class, complete with Resonance torps and a .5x hyperdrive. To make it funnier, it should also have a 'HAZARD' sticker on it like the Falcon.

One day someone will take the Dyson Sphere from Relics, slap on a stardrive that's a hybrid of Homeworld and SW hyperdrives, mount 100 Nova Bomb launchers, 1,000 ISD turrets, 50 Superlasers, one million quantum torpedo launchers, several thousand Naval Autocannon and PCCs, several thousand beam weapons from Freespace, millions of mass drivers, and ever other square meter will have a B5 Interceptor cannon. It will also have ground forces, where they'll be 100 meter tall 10,000 ton monsters, except they'll have all the mobility of a Gundam or Veritech suit. Hell, it will even be a Veritech suit, complete with ISD turrets, naval autocannon and PCCs, photon launchers, proton and photon torpedo turrets, Veritech/Gundam weapons, and of course an Eclipse-scale superlaser. And it will hold 1,000 troops, and carrying and deploying them will not hinder its mobility whatsoever. And since it's a Veritech fighter, it will also fill the requirement of an air/space superiority fighter as well. And of course this dual design will not hinder its capabilities in either role in any way whatsoever. And despite it's ungodly hugeness, it will be more maneuverable in both the air, in space, and on the ground than anything seen before. Hell, it will be just as maneuverable in the air as it is in space. And it will have some technoblabble so inertia/real world physics so it can do whatever shit it wants, so that it will fly circles around anything else and can even outmaneuver infantry on the ground, or anything on the ground. And of course it will be powered by something that's totally invincible. And of course it will have to look wicked cool, as to whether this will actually have any function doesn't matter because looking wicked cool is an end to itself.

And of course Manji will have to do a feasability study as to whether any of this is actually possible, right now

you forgot the shields that cover all possible approaches through alternate dimensions like hyperspace, the gravity well warheads launchable through hyperspace, and the targetable black hole missiles. Not to mention the giant molecular furnace capable of eating entire planets ridiculously quickly.

It now includes 7,000,000 PSP/Galaxy Chaingun hybrids, plus all the stuff Consequences mentioned. And remember that large entrance thingy that the Enterprise got sucked in? Now it can fit a star the size of Vega

And yes, it leads straight into an elemental furnace, just like on a World Devistator:)

Also, those Veritech things now also come with the aforementioned hyperspace stuff, plus are also armed with 50 PSP/Galaxy Chainguns:)

It is necesary to have the fuzzy dice, or the ship will automaticly be defeated by somebody even half as cool as Han Solo, through some Achilles Heel, naturally.

Other than that, if its a Dyson Sphere, it'll need 30 million cup holders. Enough leather interior to wrap around the Earth 10,000 times. And an interstellar sound system thats loud enough to make a star go supernova.

You forgot to load it with TIE Defenders, TIE Phantoms, and Missile Boats. It also needs to be protected with planet-defender ion cannons and planetary-scale shields. Perhaps it could have something like the World Devastator to eat planets that it blows up?

And the mini super-laser should have "Caution, point away from face" on it.

I suppose if the projectile moved fast enough, it would have kinetic energy equivilent to yottatons of TNT (of course it would go through anything known to man).

What about a gatling-superlaser?
Each of the superlasers is as powerful as the one on the Eclipse, and you can either fire them in rapid succession (like with the real gatling), or fire all at once DS style.

Actually that's what the Veritech fighters are. It only has Veritech fighters because they are a Jack-of-all trades, and master of all. It is the GOD FIGHTER!:)

Also, the ship itself can act as a massive World Devistator too.

Hell, what am I doing? I'm having a detailed discussion of a ship I made up on the fly:P

When you think about it, it's actually massively under armed. You're only going to have one gun emplacement for every few hundred square kilometers of surface area, possibly less. You really should have a thousand times more weapons.

And also a Logic/Anti-logic reactor for power..
