"Final Solution" Proposal for Darkstar
Please see this post.
I'm proposing a "Final Solution on Darkstar. Any future Darkstar threads, for reasons detailed in the above post, directly having to do with him should be purged. Fellow senators, you have the floor.

Personally, I wonder why any of us waste time on that pathetic waste of skin and oxygen in the first place. He's quite mad, has become a general embarassment on the internet, and I've no doubt that he has a destiny in the mental ward. Why bother with him at all?
When ballots have fairly and constitutionally decided, there can be no successful appeal back to bullets.

Oil an emergency?! It's about time, Brigadier, that the leaders of this planet of yours realised that to remain dependent upon a mineral slime simply doesn't make sense.

There's already this kind of Moratorium on threads regarding John Norman's Gor novels and those that follow that lifestyle. Why not have a similar moratorium on Darkstar?
Nitram, slightly high on cough syrup: Do you know you're beautiful?
Me: Nope, that's why I have you around to tell me.
Nitram: You -are- beautiful. Anyone tries to tell you otherwise kill them.

Ich denke, dass diese Idee sehr gut ist, aber es geht nicht weit genug. Wir müssen eine ernste Endlösung für das Darkstarproblem finden. Vielleicht könnten wir ihn in ein Arbeitslager setzen?
Joking aside, I'm not convinced this is necessary or desirable. Certainly there's a tendency for mooks to come around and repeat his arguments verbatim, but why not pick his arguments apart? Moreover, I'm pretty sure "posted without comment" directly quoting your arguments from a third party automatically earns punishment anyway.

I'm all for it simply because, if nothing else, there's little originality that can be applied to the darkstar thing anymore. We know he's a nut, a dork, and a loser, and what really needs to be added to that? Continuing to discuss him in any way really, at this stage, is little more than "postcount +1".
Drop the subject like the ripe old bag o' garbage it has become and be done with it.

Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."
In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!
If all you want to do is have some harmless, mindless fun, go H3RE INST3ADZ0RZ!!
Grrr! Fight my Brute, you pansy!

I also support this proposal.

I'll support this, though I've not personally been subject to the harassment and attacks of the subject of this discussion. One caveat, though: we must be sure that in removing reference (or suppressing reference in the future) to him, we don't lose track of his arguments and their rebuttals.
A Government founded upon justice, and recognizing the equal rights of all men; claiming higher authority for existence, or sanction for its laws, that nature, reason, and the regularly ascertained will of the people; steadily refusing to put its sword and purse in the service of any religious creed or family is a standing offense to most of the Governments of the world, and to some narrow and bigoted people among ourselves.
