This is the worst fucking thing I've ever seen! Look at this!

Then the head's eyes suddenly pop open. It looks up at them with a
sort of blank, childlike wonder.

HEAD

Why am I looking at me?

DATA

You are not looking at yourself. You are looking at me.

HEAD

(looking at Worf)

You do not look like me.

WORF

No.

DATA (to head)

I would like to pick you up now. May I do that?

HEAD (to Worf)

You have a pretty shirt.

WORF

Thank you.

Man, these stage directions are painful. Something... so... wrong:
Life. Glorious in its many forms. The biological pulse finding its
way heroically through the cold manipulation of science.

He looks at us evenly and then utters the word that has been the watch
cry for his entire life as a Starfleet officer.
("Engage"? No, it's "Duty." Oh, yeah, of course it is.)

Deanna nods her head and coos sympathetically. Hearty, wonderful
LAUGHTER!
And I'm only on Scene two, and already I wanna get a gun and blow the back of my head off.

Hmm, I have been reading part of it. And it is extremely bad.

This is what they say about the jeep.
Picard drives, Data beside him. Worf stands in the back at a mounted phaser canon. It is a muscular, exciting vehicle; a Starfleet version
of the jeep from old television series "The Rat Patrol."

PICARD

Now, I know that on an occasion such as this: it is expected that I be
gracious and fulsome with praise on the wonders of this blessed union
... But have you two considered what you're doing to? This is all a

damned inconvenience ...(laughter from the crowd) While you're happily
settling in on the Titan, I'll have to train a new first officer; no
doubt a stern martinet who'll quote the rule book at me and never...
ever…allow me to go on away missions. (laughter) ...Then there's the
matter of my new counselor. Undoubtedly some soft-spoken, willowy
thing who'll be probing into my darkest psyche as she nods her head
and coos sympathetically. Isn't that right, Deanna?

Deanna nods her head and coos sympathetically. Hearty, wonderful
LAUGHTER!

Mr. B is not laughing.

It is truly amazing that, given the general regard for ST writing, they have reached a new low. It's as though they went and got the writing class from "Throw Momma from the Train", loaded them up with LSD, and turned them loose on the word processors.

"...and like these Romulan dudes like totally melt and stuff like a thick malted malt on a hot day on the beach and I'm driving my buggy and hey! I should put that in there....."

I still think they should put my Ready Room scene in; it would make the entire movie worthwhile.

I only read up to when Worf sits down and belches.

Is this really authentic? I have a significant amount of doubt that it is. It doesn't read that much like a real script, more like a fanfic.

And where are the scene numbers? That's what is really making me doubt its authenticity.

The Ready Room brief doesn't seem to exist.

As noted, there are some things that don't seem to fit with this being a real script. And Trek has, several times in the past, released fake scripts to fool people. I think this is one of them. Or this might not be trek work at all, merely fanfiction.

I hope it's a fake made by some bad writing fan.

If any of you truely wish to enjoy this "Script", and yes it is possible to enjoy it, I suggest you head over to FilmJerk.com or TheFacer.net and grab the Annotated version of the script. Quite amusing. Also as far as I know this IS the actual script for the movie. The trailer that just came out only helps to solidify this opinion. So go. Read. Laugh. And gain the only joy from modern Star Trek that is now possible. Ridicule.
Soldiers Live. And wonder why.

"It is the soldier, not the reporter, Who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the soldier, not the poet,
Who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, Who has given us the freedom to
demonstrate.
It is the soldier, Who salutes the flag, Who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped by the flag, Who allows the protester to burn the
flag."

How can this be the actauly script for this film! Not a single person did not go to the writers and say: This script sucks! How is that possible?

All I can say is that if this is indeed the script, then there is no earthly comprasion to the size of the dick this film is going to suck.

To be honest, I don't know if that script is the real script. I've taking script writing courses before and that actually caused by brain to sever the occular connections to my eyes to prevent me from going on. I find it hard to believe that *that* would get produced. Seriously.
