Why not just collapse the wormhole?

One aspect I don't see adressed her, is the unique, (and therefore valueable) nature of the DS9/Bajoran wormhole. It is STABLE! (because it's artificial) No other worm hole found yet has been so. Sending ships through wormholes DESTABLISES them! The more, the mass, the greater the instability.
My hope would be it lasts long enough to send enough Imperial ships through to get the job done before it collapses on it's own. :D

BenRG: More realistic than star wars hmmm I would say niether is more realistic, Trek pretends to be and wars just doesnt care.

Does it matter if its fun to watch?

No, it doesn't. :D

The loss of the 'fun' factor is one of the reasons that I lost interest in Star Trek. The show got so fixated on internal consistency and sounding like there is a scientific basis for all its' magic that it stopped being fun. That has always been my biggest peeve against the most recent incarnations of the franchise.

TOS, TNG, DS9 I never had a problem with, but Voy was just evil.
