SWCCG and TCG

Post by Talon Karrde »

I know when I first saw an entirely new game of Trading Cards was coming out from Wizards of the Coast I was ticked, especially because they were ending expansion of the original game which I have spent my money on.

I have a few questions...
1) Does anyone have both, and what do you believe is better?
2) Is there a way to exchange your old cards from Decipher to receive new Wizard's of the Coast cards?

I liked the old CCG better. It took longer to play, but it was a far deeper game, with more going on, and more different strategies.

There is no way to exchange cards, except for the grossly inefficient selling and then buying method. There are very few people who will trade from one game for some of the other.

The old one was better from what I hear. They decided they wanted a new game that was targeted toward kids and to make it popular they ended Deciper's license to make the old CCG.
