Lucas adding more scenes to EpIII.

Found this off the EPII DVD thread link. Says in a interview with Lucas that Natalie Portman will be edited into EpVI. Maybe he will do more of the same for the rest of the trilogy.

Youll have to excuse me. I meant
Lucas adding more scenes to EpVI for the title.

This was a good find by you. I hadnt realized he had this in mind. It will be interesting to see what he comes up with. Also, if people didn't realize the droids didn't have their memory erased, they shouldnt be on this forum or any other Star Wars forum.

I thought everyone already knew this. It's gonna be in the Super Special Edition. Hopefully, they throw in the Biggs scene, too. :D

The Biggs scene would be excellent. It would open more of Skywalkers and Darklighter's friendship story up.

Yeah, I'd like to see Ewoks getting killed by the thousands by Imperial troops, and not just the scenes of them doing something that actually worked aganst the Imperials. I'd also like to see more competent Stormtroopers, and an even bigger space battle.

I would like to see the Empire win, but that of course won't be in the ROTJ

Mmmm but the idea to see more Ewoks fried is also a good thing

I am quite against this. The movie is not perfect, but I don't want to see it reinvented. The original trilogy is perfectly fine the way it is.

I just want Lucas to increase the scope of the battles. Show more fighters in ANH and ROTJ, and more AT-ATs and AT-STs in TESB.

I would raise hell if Lucas changed episode IV and V, but VI's moments just sucked. I wouldn't mind a quick flashback of some images of Portman in pain and injured while Leia says "....Somehow.....I've always known..."

Personally, I'd prefer her naked. Other than that, I'd like to see Lucas triple the size of both fleets in the orbital battle (adding more and different kinds of ships) and kill more Ewoks.

I agree that the Ewok battle got a little out of hand. Although I can see them coming out victorious many more Ewoks would have been killed because of advanced weaponry on the part of the Imperials. However, changing the movie to show more of them dieing is unnecessary.

The only good thing that can come out of GL messing with the OT yet again would be jazzing up the ROTJ space battle (the ground battle is like that for a reason- yes Ewoks died we know that but this is for kids too not just us bloodthirsty jaded adults!), and removing the Greedo blaster shot and that awful scene with Jabba in ANH (so damn fake....). The rest is PERFECT. More AT-ATs, STs in Empire wouldnt be too bad, but if they're gonna change anything it should only be the effects. That Natalie Portman idea is TERRIBLE, and I hope its a rumor.

Hopfully, they don't cut scenes out of the OT for political correctness, or add scenes in to appeal to little kids.

First off flashbacks and dream sequences just dont feel like Star Wars. Sucks that he want to do that to my favorite movie of all time. If there were any more changes. It would have to be in ESB have more AT ATs. Show the full might of the Executor at work. Then in RotJ I agree hartily with everyone. More ships!!! mainly rebel fighters. never seems like they have enough to handle the TIEs. There's too many of em! heh. One last thing. Reanimate Jabba. Ep1 Jabba looked beautiful for a slimy piece of worm ridden filth.

I guess I didn't have a problem with the Jabba and Han scene in ANH, although I disliked Greedo's point blank misfire. What exactly bothers you about the Han and Jabba scene?

Who says its a flashback?

It could be a shot of her (faked her own death etc but she may die in EP 3 although the dates dont really match up).

He could even put her in as a Jedi ghost (for which some Fans holding pitch forks would hunt him down).

I also heard about a Jar Jar scene appearing somewhere and an Alderaan reaction shot from Bail Organa - heres hoping its a rumor or that Jar dies nah even that wouldnt be worth inserting him.

The thing i would most like to see besides added fleets and flashbacks, is put some of the EU characters like Dash Rendar or Tycho and maby add some sneeking and stealthly moving Vong in the background. (Pratorite Vong were in the galaxy in the time of Rise of the Empire (Gamer #8))

And with the new computer techno scenes can be sharpend and even more special effects can be added. the Special Editions 1997 techno was great for 5 years ago.

I don't know about you but I don't think you guys understand what Lucas is going to do with Portman when they create a new scene but it is easily apparent. Think about it. Padme dies before ROTJ which they will be filming the 'new' scene for, but why don't you guys see what the thing said. I can positively absolutely masturbatoritally(wait a minute did I just put that in there, I don't think I had a hand in on that, oh.) say that Padme will become one of the faded glow in the dark Jedi, I bet she will be digitally imposed to hold Anakin's hand when Anakin, Yoda and Obi are shown at the end of the movie.
