Teenage Tony! Ooh yeah! Only teenage Tony!

This looks really hip and edgy for the new generation.

You got your Superboy in my Iron-man!
By Xenu where to begin?

1. Tony Stark is now... sixteen? Nope... Fourteen? Maybe
2. As noted the animation can be described as um... Disjointed? The best I can describe this as is someone's collage project. Ok maybe a group of friends(A small group of friends, who are sell taught) collage project.
3. As noted, that's not Tony Stark that's Superboy. That's not my hard drinking self-centered egotistical Iron-Prick who not but a few months ago we fell in love with all over again.

Iron Not Quite A Man? No fucking thanks. Can't Marvel just poach Bruce Timm already?

This Teenage Tony show will go well alongside the upcoming Next Avengers movie.

Just as Marvel owns DC on the big screen, DC owns Marvel on TV and in direct-to-DVDs.

And here I was thinking that Marvel had turned a corner after the, awesome, Spectacular Spiderman show.

Why is Marvel so bad at getting their shows animated?

IMDB had a clip of an upcoming animated Hulk vs. Wolverine video. It didn't look too bad.

Apparently there's also going to be Hulk vs. Thor. I think that both videos are going to be on a "Hulk VS" DVD.

I don't know what the deal is with teenaged Tony Stark. That sucked ass when they tried it in the comics. I guess they got tired off all the other problems Tony Stark had (heart, addiction, nervous system) so they just rebooted him into a super genius kid from another time line.

Jesus.

It's that retarded animation style used on the recent Spiderman cartoon (the one before Spectacular Spiderman). It's some kind of combination of cell shading and CGI, like it doesnt know weather it wants to be cell animation of CG. Ew. No, unacceptible. Fuck this, Tony Stark could have animation this in a cave and it would have looked better.

Also, yeah they made him a kid...i don't know why since it's well established in canon he was in his, what, mid-thirties before his injury. Unless i miss my guess heto be pegged at around 12-13, allegedly "in line" with the target demographic. It's a common pitfall of animation that they feel the need to tone down violence, sex and the relative ages of the main characters...for some reason.

Remind me not to watch this.

Which is odd and convinces me they don't know their target demographic at all, one need only check the various "internets" to find that outside of Girl focused shows(Barbie something something) the most popular shows remain... Anime, according to a total comprehensive review of all the facts(I called up my two cousins in Florida ages 10 and 13) it seems that just as everyone knew about the Power-Rangers, and before that the Ninja Turtles ask what show the kids are watching and it's Naruto, in fact it's no the only bit of Anime which is popular with the youth.

Toss in other shows that have transited over (Bleach, One Piece ect) and you find that the most popular shows regulary feature charaters that both die horribly, and main characters who get stabbed in the various(And sometimes important) body parts and even bleed(Fountain is more accurate in Bleach's case)

Those shows are quite popular, violent and somewhat nonsensical as they are. Even the 4Kids ported stuff still shows some violence, more than I'm guessing we'll see out of this show.

Kids like violence, they like lots of violence, they don't like real violence yet (Show them torture Porn like Hostel and they get grossed out or start crying(True story) but normal media violence(Something you'd see out of well... How about Iron Man the movie?) is great in their opinion.

Kids aren't as stupid as adults think they are. They can certainly tell the difference between real and fake violence, or which type you are trying to portray. Somewhere along the line of becoming adults, we forget that.

I actually remember being a kid. I hated it everytime a cartoon tried to pander to the "target audience" by shifting attention from the adult hero (the character you came to see) to some stupid child sidekick.
