That's nice, and that has what, exactly, to do with your opinion that stupid 'I'm a big man!' jokes shouldn't be thoroughly mocked here?
I mean damn, come on. Overly sadistic venting or sadistic jokes are fairly common here.
And if you had been paying any attention at all, you would have noticed that for the past half year at the absolute least, each time it's happened a majority of active posters have come down on the idiot making said claims like a ton of bricks. You're not special, you don't get any exception from this rule. Quit whining.
An both of them retracted there statements and admitted it was out of line.
And both have been duly acknowledged for doing so, it doesn't change the fact that it was a stupid statement by both.

One thing I can't help but notice is that you haven't though. Still standing by the assertion that you shouldn't be made into a pin-cushion for making stupid internet-tough-guy statements?
So wanna try any more word twisting?
No need to you worthless little prick. You're busy pouring the lighter fluid over your own coals by childishly insisting that you shouldn't be mocked for making at best a stupid and tasteless joke, and at worst a pathetic overcompensation for your lack of a dick.

You know. Someone of average intelligence might realize that posting the exact same shit that two posters just got flamed for in the same thread earlier might not be such a good idea. Then there's you. . .

B) Convince him this kinda thing HELPS the vampires.
I'm pretty sure indulging a mentally ill person's psychotic delusions is unhealthy and ill-advised. I might be wrong.

Seems logical, I'm not sure if it's right. Try wikipedia. :)

Take the guy and lock him in a padded room, or someplace else where he can't be in a position to threaten other people. He's almost definitely mentally ill, and I don't think anyone wants to be near him the next time he has a "vampire" episode.

hehe... I was just reading about this in one of my psychiatry textbooks. Yes, you are supposed to acknowledge that you understand the delusions, but not give the patient the idea that you agree with them.[/u]

Crap, hit 'send' by mistake.

The difference here, though, is that this guy wasn't just delusional; this was probably full blown psychosis. That means that he was hallucinating; he may have killed the peacock because of a voice in his mind.

This would be a psychiatric emergency, and he would probably have to halt given a medication to stop the psychotic state.

I'm just glad he didn't attack a person. Plus, peacocks are dicks.

Ah the article mentioned New York. When I was there I remember seeing a few strangely behaving people on the streets. I believe the faux documentary style movie Kids even fouced on that as one of the side plots. Just wondering is it just me or are there quite a few weirdos loose in New York ?
I have to tell you something everything I wrote above is a lie.

Well there are a bunch of crazy homeless people that are allowed to live on the street. I had one that lived in front of my building for a good 20+ years until he was hauled away one cold winter. Not sure if he was crazy but I know he was an alcoholic. Had another one in queens at the corner that would be talking up to the air, probably to god which to some might not sound as crazy, usually bragging about how he has 5 dollars or something, that one I'm pretty sure was crazy.
