Marijuana apologists are annoying as hell. They continuously act as though marijuana is about as dangerous as water. Sure, maybe it's obvious to an intelligent person that regular inhalation of unfiltered combustion byproducts is fucking stupid and bad for your health, but the average person is an idiot. He reads a marijuana apologist website that basically says it's hypocrisy to ban marijuana but not tobacco and interprets this as "marijuana is a perfectly healthy product that the evil government is banning or regulating for no reason".

Which is why the first thing I say about marijuana legalization is 'turn it into a brownie or a drink, or, if you have to inhale, invest in a vaporizer! I don't pretend for a second inhaling smoke is all rainbows and pink fluffy bunnies. It's the THC high itself that has the rainbows and pink fluffy bunnies content we're after, and THC doesn't give a good goddamn whether it's smoked, vaporized, eaten, or drank. You still get your rainbows and pink fluffy bunnies!

I'm against the War on Drugs because it is not working, not because I actually think it's OK for people to use drugs.

Because vaporizers are considered drug paraphernalia that'll net you a felony instead of a mere misdemeanor. Because, in short, it is illegal yet people will never stop using it.

Hey mand just FYI, you live in Texas now right? if so then, Marijuana paraphernalia is a class C misdemeanor (you can be issued a ticket like for speeding or arrested)... while actual possession starts at a class B misdemeanor (county charge and you must be arrested)... I have issued a few tickets for people dumb enough to have their bong kits on the table when they call us out because they are arguing with their roommate/girlfriend... and seized the kits for destruction as well.

But as for myself, I have done pot in my past and no it did nothing for pain for me either, in fact it made the pain worse.

Years ago when I used to smoke the stuff, I subscribed to the urban myth that it had analgesic properties and got high before getting my first tattoo. That's something I intend to never repeat.
