Nationalist movements in Eastern Europe exhibited this pattern regardless of their pro-German or anti-German alignment. Sad, but IMHO that was the common pattern of nationalism in that time.

It isn't as much "society" as it is deep-seated racism going down the families of the fucks, the great majority of the neo-skinheads are anti-jews or jews and blacks (They lack the intellect to realize what "Semites" means), these grandparents might easily have been selected as kapos in the camps or might have been partisans killing jews as happily as they did germans.

What sbout Jewish kapos, ghetto police thugs, ghetto/camp snitches and infamous ghetto chiefs such as "King" Chaim? Partisans occasionally preying on Jewish refugees and some Eatern Europeans collaborating with the Nazis or Soviets occured because many communities were settling old scores - if genocidal aliens enslaved humanity tomorrow I'm pretty sure you'll get loads of humans backstabbing other humans to please the alien overlords...

I don't think most racists are beyond "saving" so to speak and some people brought up in the wrong circumstances can change (unless they're sociopathic or just dumb).
