That will make you friends fast. One friendly bit of advice: NEVER click on a link someone posts until at least two people have responded to it. It will save you a world of headaches.LadyJules wrote:Aw heck, I might even ask for pics!!Surlethe wrote:...but worse, so don't take it too personally if you pop in, and someone mentions donkey porn.

Fine dipshit. I'll put in large bolded letters so your stunted brain does not have to interpret shit.XaLEv wrote:Could you rephrase that a bit? It seems kinda jumbled. Maybe explain your understanding of the chain of events in a more detailed, timeline form.Ghost Rider wrote:Stranger still when we ASKED SAID SUPERMOD, she said she made no such change. Thus you asked and she didn't remember, and got too fucking antsy and leapt up abusing your miniscule power.
Perhaps you should've asked again, and let her do her own change.

In my case, I do tend to ask "who is X...". I don't intend it to be rude, but I know I'm not in often, so I do miss people, and if the person's not paying attention, the chat can scroll the question off the page, so by keeping it as a general question to the room, I find I'm more likely to get a response. If I offended, I apologize for the unintended offense.LadyJules wrote:Yes, but as I said, they didn't ask *me*, they said in the main room, "Does anyone know this person?" and "Who is theDixen?" as if I had no right to be there. You want to know who someone is, and suspect they've just wandered in off the street (so to speak), ask *them* who they are, and maybe even explain what SDNet is about.

Well, I admit that I did change it without talking to her about it first (not sure why I decided to do it that way now), but I did send a PM to her telling her what I did and why. Her response certainly didn't indicate any disagreement with my actions. Maybe she just forgot about that part.Be it known that this is due to the user's abuse of power, in deleting and changing information in a supermod's post without consent (December 14th, 2005).
This is also due to the user's refusal to admit wrongdoing when confronted by another supermod to justify the user's actions, both presently (January 10th, 2006) and when the original offense took place (December 14th, 2005).
Abuse of power and getting smart with the moderating staff has never been suffered lightly around here, Xalev. You're not so insensate as to not understand that, are you?XaLEv wrote:Mighty kind of you guys to let me know that I had X amount of time to respond or bad things would happen.
What "proven track records" would you be referring to?SirNitram wrote: As to what you remember of events, by virtue of proven track records, I'm gonna have to beleive the supermod over you.
Which parts are confrontational? The only part that seemed confrontational to me would be when I responded to Keev's assertion that I made the edit to make it "invitation via certain people only", after I had already explained my reasons to him.Particularly since you've been nothing but confrontational instead of apologizing for your actions which, yanno, could have saved you some.
Zaia's. The one that's shown she's reliable enough and dependable enough to be a supermod.XaLEv wrote:What "proven track records" would you be referring to?SirNitram wrote: As to what you remember of events, by virtue of proven track records, I'm gonna have to beleive the supermod over you.
Your response to Ghost was quite smarmy. Have you perhaps been paying enough attention to see what happens when people try that stuff? It's typically worse than 'Lose a priveledge'.Which parts are confrontational?
