This information has been out for quite a few hours, but I just found out about it a couple of minutes ago. From The Digital Bits:
Disney has also announced some new TV DVDs, including Chip 'N Dale: Rescue Rangers, Duck Tales and Tales from Avonlea: Season One. These are each 3-disc sets due to street on 11/8 (SRP $34.99 each).

This is awesome! And here I'd come to believe that disney would just attempt to use these old series to get people to buy toon disney channel forever. Don't quit on us now, disney! I want the terror that flaps in the night and the seaduck, too!

Might solve a mystery...
Excellent news, I think I might buy this. When would we get Ducktales though?

man, Ducktales was indeed, the preverbial shit. Who knew that a show about a grouchy grand-pa, three nephews, a maid and her kid, and a screwball pilot could be so much fun.
Scrooge McDuck- most awesome rich disney cartoon character ever.
Devolution is quite as natural as evolution, and may be just as pleasing, or even a good deal more pleasing, to God. If the average man is made in God's image, then a man such as Beethoven or Aristotle is plainly superior to God, and so God may be jealous of him, and eager to see his superiority perish with his bodily frame.
It's a good sign that complete TV series sets are settling snugly into the status of "inevitable and expected". I still ought to get Pee-Wee's Playhouse.
Any bets on when The Wuzzles Complete Series shall arrive?
Ah, Ducktales, fond memories I am having of it. And it leads to such greats as Tailspin and Darkwing Duck. Seriously one of the best things I ever saw on television.
I once found out about a CD of Disney Afternoon themes and songs from the shows. Including expanded versions of the theme songs to Gummi Bears, Ducktales, Chip 'n Dale, and TaleSpin.

DuckTales was glorious; always one of my favorite shows. Always liked Tailspin better, though.
"The rest of the poem plays upon that pun. On the contrary, says Catullus, although my verses are soft (molliculi ac parum pudici in line 8, reversing the play on words), they can arouse even limp old men. Should Furius and Aurelius have any remaining doubts about Catullus' virility, he offers to fuck them anally and orally to prove otherwise." - Catullus 16, Wikipedia
I never imagined how many people would still remember the them to Duck Tails.
This is good news though... I, for one, miss the cartoons I grew up with, I also feel bad that kids now days have such poor cartoons, especially on the domestic animation side of things.
I loved Ducktales. Those zany Beagle Boys. Plus I remember the one multiple episode arc that had EVERY Ducktales character (even Donald) when Scrooge was looking for the city of gold and goes banannas once he gets there.
And Tailspin was OKAY. Shere Khan (sp?), however, was complete badassness in tigerstripes and pinstripes

That was actually the five-episode introductory arc.
