research paper

Ok I have to do a research paper for one of my master class and need some ideas. I am doing the paper on new technologies and the applications for space. Currently I have the following topics spray on space suits, the new spray on solar cell and new advances for the space elevator, ion engines ESA new GPS navigational system.

So any ideas and mods if you feel this is more science releated please move then.

To be serious, nukes in space, beyond the fact theres no shock wave, what happens with the exploded matter, could it affect us if it falls back into earth etc.

If you cover Ion engines then be sure to cover nuclear reactors (as opposed to mere RTG's) in space as well, since for such an engine they are the ideal power source.

Good point might have to see what I can dig up on that. God I hate research paper but that what I get for going for a Masters.
