205MPH! Holy shit batman! I'd hate to see the long red streak he'd make if he lost control!

"I'm not entirely sure what would happen if you crashed at 200 miles per hour," Swanson said. "But it wouldn't be pretty, that's for sure."
I have a friend who is a nurse. According to her, when motorcycle accident victims are brought in, they call it a Code Organ Donor.

A friend's father was a motorbike lover - his club's name for people riding around without the right protective gear was "road pizza". Take the worst case of road rash from a bike crash and multiple by 20.

How much damage did that ticket do to the old pocket book? I don't think the article said.

According to Minnesota state law, it'd be $130. However, this is the standard fine given for any unreasonable speed over the posted limit, and does not change no matter how far over the limit the offender is. But, given his extremely excessive speed, I think it's reasonably safe to assume he was ticketed for reckless driving, careless driving, and failure to reduce speed as well. With punishments of a court appearance, $180 fine, and $130 fine respectively, he'd be required to pay a total fine of $440 and appear in court (at which point he'd either have his license revoked or would have to pay yet another fine).

205 miles per hour on an open highway? If one of them ended up crashing, it should get a Darwin Award.

I didn't think a honda liter bike could hit 200mph.

Only a handful of exotic sports cars can reach 200 mph, but many high-performance motorcycles can top 175 mph. With minor modifications, they can hit 200 mph. Tilley was riding a Honda 1000, Loney said.

According to the article, he doesn't even have a license to revoke. That adds on additional penalities by itself.

My friend's mother died pulling out of her driveway on her Harley. I'd hate to think how messy it would be to crash on at that high a speed.

No it says either his license will be revoked or he'll pay another fine. Otherwise he'd be in jail.

my friend got a ticket that was 78 in a 55 and his ticket was $140. Glad I wasn't him. He got his license about two weeks before his ticket.
