Mirror Universe

What episodes has the mirror universe been visited in, and what happened exactly? I know the TOS one where they were demanding stuff from the peaceful guys (Yes, I know it well).

Through the Looking Glass. DS9 - Season 3 I think.

Sisko is captured by Smiley O'Brien, taken off to the Mirror Universe in order fulfil the dead mirror universe sisko's mission to stop his wife from completing a sensor array which will locate the human resistance bases within the badlands, he heads off to Terok Nor, intentionally gets captured by sadistic head honcho Kira, gets to Jenniffer, wins her over, they escape by Sisko using the stations command codes from this universe to activate the station's autodestruct and change the codes, forcing Kira to allow the resistance to escape, and Jennifer Sisko goes to work for the other side. Sisko admits he ain't from round here and Smiley sends him back.

DS9 season 2 "Crossover". Kira and Bashir get sucked into the mirror universe through some technobabble event where they find the "Terrans" enslaved by an alliance of Klingons, Cardassians, and Bajorans. Apparently after Kirks initial visit the Terrans decide to give up their violent ways and were promptly conquered by the Alliance. Kira meets a lesbian version of herself, Bashir gets thrown in Terok Nor's ore slave center and winds up killing the mirror universe version of Odo if I remember correctly.

Another DS9 Mirror Universe episode was season 4's "Shattered Mirror".

Jennifer Sisko from the parallel universe comes for a visit, and then takes Jake back with her to lure Ben there. It turns out the Terrans have taken Terok Nor and managed to build the Defiant with plans Smiley downloaded on a previous visit. They now need Sisko's help to get her ready for a showdown battle with the Alliance fleet, commanded by mirror Worf.

And the third episode. Shattered Mirror.

The Alliance has taken Terrak Nor. Jennifer comes over to our universe, apparently simply to tell Sisko about the situation and how things have changed. Jack walks in on them and immediately becomes endeared with his 'Mother'. Sisko is called away to speak to some high ranking Bajorian Vedick and when he gets back, surprise surprise they are both gone.

But of course she left an interdimensional transporter that reconfigures the stations transporters to beam them to the OTHER Terak Nor. Sisko Kira and O'Brien gun up and transport over, but only Sisko Materialises on the ops pad in Ter'ak Nor, the other two are still on DS9. Sisko demands Jack back, simply refuses and a couple of guards appear and disarm him.

Smiley then reveilles what’s going on. Taking Ter'ak nor is one thing. Holding it is a little more tricky. The Alliance fleet is on the way and will arrive within a week. When Smiley beamed over to DS9 and kidnapped Sisko the first time, he took the opportunity to downland some files off their computer database...including the complete technical schematics for the USS Defiant. They have built the ship exactly according to plan, but ran into the same problems Starfleet did. The damn thing tries to tear itself apart when the engines are tried at full power. Sisko tells them what the solution is, but they have less then half the time they would need, so they need Siskos expertise, so they 'kidnapped' Jack. Sisko agrees to help, then dresses down Jack and Jennifer something fierce. Jennifer defends herself saying that Sisko was the one who turned her from the Dark side and she is doing what he suggested, helping the good guys. He says its not her motives he questions, its her methods. But Jack is just obsessed with her and he was the one who wanted to come back to her universe for a while. Sisko is PISSED at Jake, but holds it back.

He then starts helping with the Defiant. A lot of the other Siskos crew are less then pleased with him being back. Bashier punches him. Sisko says that’s ok, he owned him that, but if he so much as looks at him wrong again...Dax is a little upset that she screwed HIM and not the other Sisko. Sisko then has to step in to stop Bashier from having fun inflicting pain on the other Kira who they captured saying that they should hold themselves to higher standards then the Alliance, if they think they are any better.

Work on the Defiant continues and it looks like they will get it finished in time. Then they get the bad news. Worf (the Klingon regent in command of the Alliance Fleet heading for Ter'ak Nor) learns about this super advanced warship being built and increases his fleets speed to Warp Nine. Sisko and Jennifer are growing somewhat closer on the Station, when they are interrupted by O'Brien bringing the news that the Alliance is less then 12 hours away. And the Defiant ain’t ready. Bashier and Dax take one of the last raiders and exploit a sensor weakness of the Alliance ships (provided by Kira after Sisko lets her know its in her best interests to help them) and lead them on a wild goose chase that buys the time to complete the Defiant.

The Alliance attacks, the last work has been completed and the Defiant is ready for launch. O'Brien tells Sisko to get the hell out of here and thanks for the help. And that Jake was being sent back as they speak…that he was going to send him back regardless before the battle. Then starts bemoaning he wished he had gotten a chance to try the Defiant before the Alliance came, to know the ship yada yada. Sisko sighs and rolls his eyes, then kicks Smiley out of the Command chair and sits down. The Defiant launches.

Jennifer is moving with Jack back to the Transporter to get him out of here. Unfortunately they are intercepted by an armed Kira who has escaped. She plans to take Jennifer captive back to the Regent as a gift, but she jumps in front of Jack as Kira tries to blast him and dies in his place. Curious as to why she would die for him, she finds out he is Siskos son, from the alternate reality. She spares his life and tells him its a debt she will one day call on his Father.

Outside the Station, the Alliance attack continues, then the Defiant suddenly roars up into the fight, shattering two of the Birds to Prey in a matter of seconds. Worfs massive Neg'var variant flagship (bigger then an ISD) starts to focus its fire on the Defiant. Sisko tells Smiley to aim right at it. As they get close, it gets sledge hammered and its forward shields start to erode. Sisko jumps onto the Helm saying that he simply knows the Defiant better, then kicks in the Impulse engines. He fly’s the Defiant at point blank to the Flagship, meters away from its hull, dancing around the nacelles and protrusions while Smily blasts disruptor cannon mounts and warp nacelles away with the Pulse Phasers. Worf is getting massively pissed. Bashier comes back surprisingly still alive and joins in, the Klingon ship getting seriously pounded. Worf calls off the fleet and the battle is won.

Back on the Station, Sisko has to watch Jennifer die yet again. He tells her that she is not so different from his Jennifer after all, and after she dies, he and Jack head home.

And the final episode, 'The Emperors New Cloak' I am not even going to mention. It does not exist. It did not happen.

Heres a review from Star Trek Hypertext

Basically Grand Nagus Zek gets kidnapped by a mirror universe Ezri Dax who is on the side of the Alliance.

They hold him hostage in exchange for a cloaking device, and its Quark's job to steal one from Martoks ship and rescue Zek.

Its a lame Ferengi hybrid comedy episode that just comes off....wrong.

I agree with Chris Ofarrell on this one, it doesnt exist!

I think there was also a TNG episode about the mirror universe where the Federation was at war with the Klingon Empire.
I have to tell you something everything I wrote above is a lie.

That wasn't the mirror universe, it was jus an alternate timeline where the Ent-C didn't fight to the death to save Neandre III from a Romulan Assualat.

That one was pretty bad except for the hot gay version of Ezri from the Mirror Universe.

By they way, earlier in the thread someone said Mirror Kira was a Lesbian but I think she was bi and a hedonist. She seemed to like just about everyone.

There was also an episode where mirror Kira and mirror Bareil show up in the mainstream Trek universe.
Resurrection

I thought it kind of sucked or at least the ending did.

It's still a crappy episode. I may also be overrating Mirror Ezri a little but then I like Ezri in general. :D

I think the kiss was the final straw for Bashir & Quark. I thik they decided they really hated the Mirror Universe after that.

Silly me. I confused the alternate timeline with the mirror universe.
