No she wouldn't (ok, maybe with Vader) in all of the OT imperial officers 'express their concerns' The Argument at the table in ANH, the 'there is a danger' scene in ANH the 'There are thousands of probe droids' and the Incredulous 'we're not going to attack' in RotJ. She could get away with anything she could get away with in a real navy.

What makes you think that Ivanova won't shut up and do her duty? She is a good officer- the only reason we hear her mouth off so often in B5 is because she IS one of the superior officers.

I thought it was her delivery that was off. especially the temporary English accent she used when she said "incarnate"

She made up for it when she was crying over Marcus. She delivered those lines spot on.
