He was thrown in jail and most likely executed, which means he's a dumbass. He did things on purpose that placed him directly in front of a firing squad. I guess we can call him St. Swiss Cheese, according to your cretinism.
First of all, we do not know what happened to him. There are conflicting reports about his identity and his eventual fate. Even if we assume that you are correct, it still does not make him an idiot, because he knew what he was doing and the consequense of his actions. A better example would be a protestor standing on a roof with a sign, then accidentally falling off.
As for him being "St. Swiss Cheese" you don't see threads about him here, do you (and Tianmen Square was a significant event, unlike St. Pankake's little rally to protect arms smuggling tunnels).

Have a very nice day.

First of all fucktard, Israeli soldiers have no business in Gaza or the West Bank to begin with. Second, according to every reputable human rights organization (including the Israeli group B'Tselem) the demolitions have little or nothing to do with military necessity, but are part of a campaign of reprisals against Palestinians in general. Third, this kind of retaliation violates the Geneva Conventions. Fourth, maybe you, Yellow Rain Man and the Trolling Cunt should find one more perverted scumbag who also plays with his dick at the thought of murdered blondes and the four of you can go on an IDF-escorted pilgrimage to Gaza, do circle jerks and leave love puddles at the site where she was killed. In the mean time, go fuck yourself.
And Palestinians have no business blowing up cafes in Israel. What's your point?
Second, the buildings in question were at the end of an arms smuggling tunnel.
Finally, I think you should go back for your weekly orgy with Kos. You seem to be running low on his semen to spout from your mouth here.
Did you even read that essay, Elfdart? Or are you just dismissing it as israeli wanking because it's conclusions do not agree with your world view?

I agree it's a powerful anti-Chinese communist image; I also don't see how that mitigates the foolishness of getting in the way of a large, moving vehicle.
A Government founded upon justice, and recognizing the equal rights of all men; claiming higher authority for existence, or sanction for its laws, that nature, reason, and the regularly ascertained will of the people; steadily refusing to put its sword and purse in the service of any religious creed or family is a standing offense to most of the Governments of the world, and to some narrow and bigoted people among ourselves.

Not necessarily murder charges, but the jury would be quite easily convinced that the driver, knowing that there were crowds of people around, should have waited until police could clear them and he'd be assured of safety before putting his foot in the gas.
If this had happened anywhere else, there would be calls for a grand jury (within the US) or a full-scale investigation from the State Department. If one of Castro's soldiers had run over a right-wing Cuban with a bulldozer, the same assholes on this board who think Rachel Corrie had it coming would squeal like stuck pigs. This in spite of the fact that right-wing Cubans have bombed hotels, airliners and two American citizens in Washington D.C..

If said right-wing Cuban died in such a singularly idiotic way as Rachel Corrie did, no we wouldn't. Because we have the brains that you lack.
As for an investigation, there was one, which included the soldier in question submitted to a polygraph test, among other things. The verdict was that it was an accident.

Elfdart will say that it doesn't matter, because the Jew Zionist pigs would just cover it all up, like they did with the liberty, et al!

I was unaware soldiers intentionally jumped in front of vehicles; in any case, I think the distinction between a soldier, who is doing his job, and presumably doesn't search out enemy vehicles to stand in front of, and a protester, who intends to impede the vehicle with his body, is quite clear.

No, you said that anyone who risks their life for an ideology is stupid. This applies to soldiers.

No weapons, drugs, or alcohol please.
Actually, I didn't know about that. But sometimes the comedy writes itself.

I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

But apparently ISM accounts of the event are the epitome of independent, objective testimony!

I remember when Ted Rall called Pat Tillman an "idiot" after he was killed all the war whores got bent out of shape over it, icluding death threats against Rall. Tillman put himself in harm's way, which means according to the Little Green Fucktards, he was an idiot and Ted Rall was right all along. By that logic, all 2000-plus US personnel killed in Iraq, Afghanistan and anywhere else were idiots and had it coming, too.

You're right; I suppose I did. I'd like then to retract that, and and modify it to simply that standing in front of large, moving vehicles is not the most intelligent thing to do.

Bulldozer 2 has been proven to show an incident earlier in the day showing a different bulldozer. Moreover, IIRC, the ISM has admitted that nohotogrspher was at the scene when the accident happened.

I hope the right-wingers in this thread with their yuk-yuk Saint Pancake jokes will remember to keep this thread bookmarked for the next time somebody tries to have a moment of silence for something dear to the right-wing and someone decides to shit all over the thread. Because I can tell you right now that ha ha ha, the oh-so-funny right-wingers have just pissed away their right to complain about such behaviour the next time it happens, and if they choose to conveniently forget their behaviour in this thread, I won't.

The only slight difference that I can see here is that Elfdart intentionally goads right wingers with his opening post. Had he simply said something in memoriam instead of doing that, then you would have more of a point. Meanwhile, it seems proof that opposites attract yet again, and we all get to enjoy the popcorn of another Eldart-Sheppard flamewar.

In what universe? Are you referring to the part where he attacked the "smear campaign" of people continuing to vilify and mock her in death? Is that your idea of "goading" the right-wingers?
