Lots of girls think that she's the pinnacle of beauty and success, and the way she's portrayed on tv, how could you not? Keep in mind that the average guy would probably have sex with a 300 pound woman if he hasn't been laid in a couple of months.
The other side of this is that you can automatically assume that anyone who likes her is stupid. Any Paris fan whose over 13 automatically gets the "I'm a retard" label. I don't have to know them personally, knowing that is enough.

I think it comes from the mindset that beautiful is skinny, tan, blond, blue eyed etc. Because Paris is skinny, tan, blond, etc., it's assumed she must be beautiful. And to get to this barbie doll idea of perfection, she's had tons of plastic surgery to the point she just looks fake. If you look at a picture of her as a teenager, I wouldn't say she's hot, but she's not half bad.

This is getting into my 'destruction of society' rant territory. You're exactly right. Younger girls want to be Paris Hilton; someone who is so narcissistic that she literally thinks laws don't apply to her. She's also dumber than stump and a blatant whore who brags about being one. If her reality show was accurate, she can't perform the most basic of human tasks. So what I want to know is how many screwed up girls she's indirectly responsible for. Aside from lots of racist screeds, driving while severely intoxicated, driving intoxicated while on a suspended license, and a whole bunch of other repugnant shit? On the contrary, she's one of the celebrities that are only known for their shitty behavior. I'd say being a none stop poster girl for drug abuse, irresponsible sex-capades, as well as her illegal behavior certainly sets a bad example and encourages a certain segment of people to believe that's a desirable lifestyle.
