This is a tremendously stupid event.

If "restraint of a minor" is an intrinsically sexual offense, then the court should have found some other charge. I still wouldn't agree with him being found guilty (unless, say, he swerved to avoid her while she was in a cross-walk or some other piece of info we don't have is out there) but it definately wouldn't be such a big deal if he didn't get stuck with a tremendously undeserved sex-offender tag.
