Does anybody else realize how STUPID these dovin basals really are? It's like the tech of the week in ST paired with the villan of the week. Whoever thought up that uber-turtle armor should be shot with berman and bragga.

That and the amphistaff's. Give me a fucking break. Instead of stormtroopers or droids with blasters, they give the Vong some staff that can't be cut by sabres and armor that's the same.

any thing the DS would be able to use would surley destory the Vong with one swift stroke, just like it was meant to do decades ago. just with the Rebellion instead of Vong. The only thing i can see that would be a problem is that since there are EU stories taht the Vong have been in the galaxy since the Rise of the Empire (SW Gamer# 8 ) it would have been the first thing attacked. But im sure the DS would be able to defeat any insugnificant force.'

As I've stated in another thread, the NJO series shows that the Vong were in the galaxy 50 years before the series began, thus showing they invaded the galaxy almost the exact same time as the trade dispute at Naboo during The Phantom Menance, Episode I.

It's in Rogue Planet. Albeit a vagueness. Obi Wan talks with one of the Jedi and it mentions that Vergere was on a mission around that Sekot I beleive it was, and vanished.

In real life physics if a black hole sucks in more matter than can be absorbed at once the pressure involved will actually force out a high energy stream, that is actually the method used to spot black holes experiencing this phenomena. If there is someone more scientifically minded than me who can explain this better, then please do so.
