Hey! That'll cut down on your cost of building a underground lair!

Of course, we'll have to find a way of moving the Pit of Howling Madness filled with Giant Killer Monkeys to the new location, which will not be pleasent.

I always wondered why Mike didn't mention this about her on his "things that piss me off" page.

I never converted. Im a federation citizen till my last breath. I love the idea of the two universes together, fighting. I read Mike Wong's conquest, and while I disagree with alot of his "evidence", I open my mind to new Ideas. Aside from that, it is a kick ass story. I'd like to see a sequel Mike. But I'm still a little skeptical that some Federation ships and tactics are as weak as you say they are. Don't flame me, but it's just my opinion that there are some aspects of the UFP and Starfleet that shouldn't be underestimated. (NOTE: I am referring to the after Endgame timeline, with those Nifty Transphasic Torpedoes that sweet admiral Janeway brought us....and gimme a sec and I'll comment on that in another thread.

Just my own opinion

I didn't know a lot about the speed, firepower and numbers of each though I thought SW would win. Mike's site showed me stuff.

Keeping an open mind is very important, 2/3 of the Auto-trekke flame weapons rely on people who don't have an open mind :)

Amen Mr. Bean. Some Trekkies, despite claiming to be open minded, basically aren't. I'm a trekkie, just not a stupid one. By the way, your pic is cool. Mr. Bean kicks ass.

Mr.Bean:
Me thinks I got it backwards too
Question, is "A new ST plot reviled" a typo, or a joke? If it is a typo, it is an even funnier joke. Can you say, "Freudian slip!"

Good resons to convert.Note, I still like star trek but not as much as before.
1)Star trek Insurrection.I think that Wong is wrong when he says that that particular film is racist, after all it is not like ANH is full of black actors. However the film sucks.I hate the Bakus. They had deserved what they would have got. They would have deserved a squadron of tie bombers loaded with nerve gas bombs,or an AT-AT going around in their little happy village (it is not like I am saying that the people should be really gased but I hate the bakus).Picard & co with their rhetoric were unbearable. For the first time since I had started to watch star trek I hoped that the enterprise was destroyed.
2)Star trek Voyager.I cannot point out anything of specific but I do not like the show in general.
If you are referring only to the technical side I have been converted by Wong's website, although I do not buy some of his statements (real neutronium in the hull, which would destroy/damage the ship as soon as his containement field or the energy goes down? Not exactly a great idea).

good reason to convert

I was once a rabid fiver however even then I despised the idea that crappy earthforce fighters are superior to even the basic tie/in.
However I was never a rabid trekkie and yes I have always hated the dammed preaching of sisko on DS9 as mike wong stated.

All mike wong's site did was to basicly put into words what I had been slowly changing opinions into, I now mainly a moderate sci-fi fan, but with a slight leaning toward SW and b5, loved the site, and yes I hated the odd-numbered trek movies like the SW fans, I did like ST:II TWOK and ST:FC however.
