Samurai Jack owns this fight. His reaction times and skills are so fast, it would be over very, very quickly.

Depends; Jack swings from being able to block machinegun fire for extended periods/barely injured by being dragged face first down a mountainside/kills entire armies of robots/uninjured (just pinned) by a 700 ton sumo dropped on him/etc... level to being KO'd by normal thugs, while Kenshin was usually far more consistently superhuman. On the low end of Jack's scale, Kenshin can waste him. On the middling to high end though, the only advantages Kenshin has is that he can probably run faster, has a few nifty ki tricks that won't be too useful against a similarly skilled and far more durable superhuman, and possibly an agility advantage. In close, Jack's ability to block machinegun fire shows more precision than the wild speed of the Ryu Sou Sen (Hiko's own description of the move), and the Amakakeru probably wouldn't work for a bokken (and even with a sakaba, it seems to count as blunt damage, which means that Jack's insane durability on the upper spectrum of his performances would allow him to avoid most, if not all, of the damage).

If you're gonna give them bokkens though, they're both at a bit of a disadvantage... While Jack's normal sword wouldn't be able to harm Kenshin due to its magical nature (it can't harm noble warriors, right?), the bokken is still considerably less durable than it. Kenshin's not used to using a bokken (well, according to himself; he might just have been saying it to avoid sparring with Kaoru back when he still hadn't known her for very long), and again, it's a lot weaker than his normal sakaba or katana. In all likelyhood both swords will shatter the first time that they connect with one another. To make the match (since it seems to just be friendly sparring and not actually to the death) even, I'd suggest using him in his post-Kyoto Rurouni mode since he's even stronger than he was when he used to be the Hitokiri Battousai.
"What's that smear on the wall, Mommy?"
"That used to be Spider-Man, honey."
"What killed him?"
"A zipper. Some said it was velcro, but the Daily Bugle said it was a zipper, and I believe the Bugle."
"Wow, he musta been real stupid, huh?"
"Yes honey, he was."

AFAIK, Hitokiri Battousai is the correct spelling according to the subs and manga. "Hito" means "man/people", and "kiri" means "cutter" (though in this connotation, "slayer" is a better translation). I'm not quite sure what Battousai for, but I *think* it means "Battoujutsu (the technique of unsheathing one's blade in a rapid attack) Master", which would make sense because the Hiten Mitsurugi style has a unique method of battoujutsu, and Kenshin was reknown for his speed during the war.

well I figured Bokkens because they are desined not to kill people by accident and iot would level the playing field. Also both of them should be used to Bokkens since they are sused in katana training
