The Best AMVs of All Time (as of 2013) Round 1 Part 1

Post by Teankun1 »

This is a poll to determine the best AMVs of all time [as of today (2013) as that there may be even better AMVs made in the future). Feel free to suggest any others that you feel should be vote for but take in mind that in any case this is just the beginning of the poll so the 10 choices here are just the first of over a hundred to be voted on over the entire poll which may take over much of the year.

The end result of the poll (the top 10 or 20) I plan to show at an anime con next year.

Here are descriptions of the AMVs above including links for immediate refererence.

Where is the "none of the above" option?

Have a very nice day.

I watched the Windows/Eva one out of curiosity, it got a chuckle out of me.

Yeah, it is pretty much the ONLY "AMV" most people know of, usually it's something people have seen even if they know nothing about Anime or AMV's as it were.

Personally my favorite Anime video was a mashup of Evangelion and one of the songs from the South Park movie.

If I had to pick one I actually thought was decent enough to be viewed seriously, it would have to be Center of the Sun Mashed with the Anime "Metropolis"

Well, obviously.

More to the point, some of these can be rather well done. As with most things, the art lies in sifting through the dreck. I've a fondness for, say this one, but that's mostly a combination of band and series I like.
According to wikipedia, "the Mohorovičić discontinuity is the boundary between the Earth's crust and the mantle."
According to Starbound, it's a problem solvable with enough combat drugs to turn you into the Incredible Hulk.

I was trying to find an excellent one I saw years back that had scenes from Fellowship of the Ring set to the Wombles theme song. No joy.
