Size of the Valdore?

Post by Master of Ossus »

How large is a Valdore class ship? I'm reading some of the literature on them, and one site suggests that they are SIX HUNDRED KILOMETERS!

http://members.fortunecity.de/neutralzo ... reType.htm

Another claims the more realistic length of 1 kilometer, but also reports that the ship is 4 kilometers wide, which is clearly erroneous, and also reports that the ship has a restaurant on board!

http://www.furryconflict.com/bbs/topic. ... &topic=254

Yet another site claims that the ship is 1300 feet long, but has one hundred thirteen decks!

A very similar report comes from here

http://talk.trekweb.com/articles/2002/0 ... 16993.html

So, what are the actual dimensions of the Valdore?

Europeans use a comma where N. Americans use a period.

It didn't look much bigger then the Enterprise from the shots I saw. It also seems to be weaker then the Enterprise by a fair degree, which D'Derdix would not be indicating its a weaker ship, so its likely smaller then the other Warbird we know.

So you're saying that they measured this ship down to the millimeter?

From what I've seen onscreen the Valdoor class seemed to range in the same size-level as do ships like the Federation's New Orleans class, which are light frigates.
Neither them nor the Valdoor class warbirds seemed to be overly powerful.
