Random future soldier

Here's a generic sci-fi soldier drawing I was working on a few hours ago:

I'm still not finished, not by a long shot. I'm going to practice some photoshop stuff I saw online.

I like his pose and combat armour, but his carbine looks a bit too droopy. Why not colour him? Give him field/urban digital camouflage or something?

'Secondly, I don't see why "income inequality" is a bad thing. Poverty is not an injustice. There is no such thing as causes for poverty, only causes for wealth. Poverty is not a wrong, but taking money from those who have it to equalize incomes is basically theft, which is wrong.' - Typical Randroid

I like this dude's style. Only thing I can point my finger at is that his legs seem a bit thick. Trim down the thunder-thighs and you're in business, my man...

Yeah, they look huge...I was trying to convey the idea that there was some sophisticated actuation system between the wearer and the armor, hence the weird proportions. I'll get on top of fixing some things after work/homework. Thanks for the input and I'm really happy that you guys like this picture, I was beginning to think I had lost my touch! :D
