Re: Biggest Epic Fails in History

Didn't the Soviet performance during the Winter War also convince German generals that the Red Army was next to worthless, and thus significantly influence the decision to stab the USSR in the back? I'd argue that it might classify as an epic fail for this reason alone :D The winterwar did certainl...

[Continued to next post due to character limit] At Apotheus’ Camp The midnight snow storm had died down outside the camp, the illustrious moonlight finally shining down at the buildings beneath it as the inhabitants rested inside. Standing behind rigid walls the gryphons of the three guards lay ins...

Re: Biggest Epic Fails in History

Would the Battle of Thermopylae count as an epic fail on the part of the Persians? Even though they technically won, they believed the Greeks were a pushover but ended up getting their asses handed to them. Not really. The thing that you have to take into account is that almost all of the sources a...

2 Oh sweet mother nature, what do you behold that I cannot be aware of yet. Why do I have to suffer for your enjoyment, left alone, robbed of everything but tiny scraps of knowledge, to fend off children of the earth and sky, half eagle, half lion, whose existence were all thought to be a dream. No...

Beneath the Field of Heaven | Illustrated Fantasy 7/13/13

http://i.imgur.com/a3V9dHX.png Greetings. Let me show you this project I have been working on unrelated schedule. This is, if I am using the correct words, a mostly low-magic fantasy story, that had started as a way from me to better my English to a point where I could speak it fluently. It started...

Re: Superheroes: A dilemma

"I don't know what peoples reactions will be" equals "kill him"? Jesus this thread is fucking disturbing. I should probably apologize for that, reading what I wrote again it does come out as extremely disturbing. And I should also take back the comment about pushing the button a...

Re: Superheroes: A dilemma

Personally, I would push the button (activate the device, how ever you use the damn thing) immediately. Now this is may be a bit far fetched, but I do think that the discussion of whether or not Super John will be good or evil or may pose a threat with his actions is where we should be starting from...

Re: So, New Xbox Reveal In About 14 Hours.

I mean...if I'm reading this right, No, he said that total sales of 7th gen consoles (PS3 + Wii + X360) will be approx 300M and expected total sales of 8th gen consoles will be at least a third more than that. Which is completely reasonable assuming no devestating economic crash or total replacemen...
