Whee new South Park

Post by SylasGaunt »

Anyone watch this tonight? South Park + MMORPGs = hilarity. It's good to have new episodes running.

I'm hoping the last comment was a sarcastic nod off to the season premier.

It was not a season premiere. It is the continuation of season 10.

Wasn't the one with Chef and the Super Adventure Club the season ten opener?

Yes. FedRebel, check Wikipedia and IMDB. Wikipedia states that the newest seasons often have two parts.

I was kind of dissapointed. Was expecting it to be a little more "inside-joke only someone who plays WoW would get"-y. I'm sure I'll catch it again later this week and laugh my ass off, though.

YARGH FUCKING IDIOTS AT THE CABLE COMPANY! Of all the times Comedy Central could be down this week it couldn't have been during the 450 shitty reruns of shitty MTV, it HAS to be during the premiere of the NEW FUCKING SEASON YARGH.

Ah well, at least it will be on again in an hour and a half if they get it fixed.

God, that was hilarious. I only saw the last 10 minutes, but that was enough.

Cartman: Looks like you're about to get pwned. *crunch*
Stuart: The only problem is, I'm losing track of which universe I'm in.

When Cartman got everyone together to take that guy down, I was expecting Butters, or Mr. Marsh to pull a Leeroy Jenkins.

*cryies* It was still out. I set my digital cable reminder for the next four airings.

I missed the first airing but managed to catch the rerun. Quite frankly, I was surprised when I saw that they were lampooning World of Warcraft; I wonder how Trey and Matt managed to get Blizzard's permission to use WoW in that episode...

I laughed my ass off watching it and then logged on to WoW to watch the fireworks.

"WTS Sword of 1000 Truths"
"LFG grinding boars in Elwynn"
"Is the sword of a thousand truths a pally weapon or hunter?"
"Stan's dad said he was a hunter but he had a shield, LOL"
"Stan's dad was a noob, he even admitted it."
"Kenny was a hunter tho"
"WTB Sword of a Thousand Truths"
"Kenny was a rogue pretending to be a hunter, shut up."
"Everyone /join southpark and get it out of group channel!"
"Stay out of Arathi! It's a death zone!"
"Hey where do you learn the spell summon scorpions?"
"LFM PVP raid Arathi!"
"No, no, I don't wanna start over from the graveyard!"
"Cartman was right on, dwarfs rule"
"Timmy was a priest LOL!"
"Did anyone see any druids?"
"Clyde? Clyde?! Dammit, we lost Clyde!"
"This could be the end of the world.........of warcraft."

When Cartman is laying out his plan for taking on the PKer he says "I WILL use intimidating shout" with exactly the same inflection as the Depressed Raid Leader in RoughGo.

Classic.

My guild was in Naxx last night, and we had to remind everyone that the epsiode re-airs at midnight so we didn't lose the entire group at 10.

I thought the episode wasn't that great too. Then again, it could be due to my seething hatred of all things WoW.
