Are you just picking on hapless fundies? If so, then your being mean and your actions are shameful. You shouldn't be picking people for just being fundies or whatnot.

But if they piss you off deliberately, then go right ahead.

If the best argument you could come up with is "Satan ain't ambitious," then you have no place arguing with fundies at all. And besides, if global and heavenly domination is a "noble cause," then I suppose you would have sided with Hitler?

Well, here's what I'd say.

Me: So you hate satan, and fight him?
Him: YES!
Me: And he's the most evil master-mind of them all?
Him: YES!
Me: But if we know he's going to lose because of what's written in revalations, then why the hell is he still fighting? And why should we bother ourselves with him because he's going to lose either way?

Queeb and Zod, you don't understand. This kid is the type that, if I'm discussing scientific theories with a friend, he'll barge into the conversation and say "Theories can be wrong, look at evolution, oooooh hahaha".

We had fun with him a few weeks ago. Bobby Russell, another kid in my class, decided to ask him, "If you believed Satan was in these two tall buildings in New York City, would you commandeer a plane and fly it into the buildings to kill him?" It was funny. A few days later our fundy teacher decided to get into the discussion, saying "I'm not arguing for or against religion, but theres more proof that Jesus was the son of God than not." That was classic, right there.

I would rather read those conversations than the one you posted. It really wasn't that good.

So Satan is evil because he wants to control everything? But God already controls everything according to his belief system, so does that argument not lead to the conclusion that God is even more evil?
