It doesn't. It's just our science is 'wrong' ref. Enigma.

If our science is "wrong", then that makes it a bit hard to apply SoD principles to Stargate then, doesn't it? Which makes any attempt at analysis rather futile.

And under SoD we always assume characters must always know what they are talking about.. sorta like in Trek right:?
We also know submersing the stargate in high energy plasma will keep the gate open for longer, also hits from staff weapons get directly converted into gate running power (while the gate is running!).

Yup.

In one episode the show demonstrates the incompleteness of our under standing of gravity and time dilations when we observe SGC being dialing into form a gate fallin into a blackhole. The time dilation effects and gravity which propergate though the gate just dont make sense udner our understanding of them.

Aka they dont cover the extremes, only the narror region we inhabit.

Well the show then goes on to demonstrate that Carter wasnt just blowing hot air.

The show demonstrates this too... No character is saying this.

Narim only says that Quantum Physics is wrong. He studied it in school, along with other fallacies.

Things like Conservation of Energy and whatnot supposedly still apply... Despite the weirdness of Naquadah.
