Right after they announced the new TMNT film, too (he voiced Splinter); luckily they had already completed almost all of his voice work, but it sucks to realise he won't work on anything else.

Mainly because I'm man enough to suck it up and consider it an $8.50 charge for a remedial lesson in reading reviews before I see a movie.

That, and the fact that kicking and screaming and begging for a refund is pretty immature and typically doesn't end with you getting that refund. And I have SOME dignity.

Also, did anyone notice that the heroine character was explicitly, repeatedly mentioned as a plot point to be 19, turning 20 soon? Yeah, and her and her friend go out to the bar to have drinks. How she manages to do this is of interest to me, being 19 turning 20 in the next few weeks myself

Bah. I prefer to view it as "Not giving the bastards any of my money. Make a GOOD movie if you want it."

I mean, I've seen bad movies before. I generally don't ask for a refund. But a movie bad enough to make me walk out twenty minutes in - a movie with three topless scenes, one of them including vomit, and no damn zombies in that time period - is not one for which the filmmakers should be rewarded. Or, for that matter, the theater choosing to give them screentime.

Korean film, not American, they didn't know what our drinking age was.
