I wonder how much of his own bullshit he believes. Take, for example, his recurrent claims that we're all a bunch of violent stalkers at stardestroyer.net. Do you really think he would continue to antagonize us if he seriously believed that there was a community of more than 2000 possibly homicidal stalkers who were out to get him? He'd be scared shitless if he seriously thought that. He says all of that crap because he knows it's not true, but he figures it will give him an advantage in this anti-Star Wars jihad of his.
Personally, I think he knows that he's spewing bullshit, but he doesn't care because it's all about pride, and he has a pathological mental condition which makes him refuse to admit that he was ever wrong about anything.

Ha ha, maybe you should e-mail him on that point. The potential for bullshit-spewing is just enormous, and in a way we haven't seen before.

Well, IIRC he once implied that the vs debate was the reason he bought a DVD player.KeVinK wrote:Perhaps he believes he is the keeper of the truth and is absolutley flabergasted when his audience does not recognize that fact. He tries once or twice to break it down into small enough pieces for the dim to comprehend, then he gives up in frustration, lashing at the obvious trolls whose deliberate denial of his wisdom and the self-evident validity of his revelations in transparent attack makes plain that their sole motivation in buying computers and paying an internet service provider is to mock and threaten him. Darkstar has announced a new website that he's in the process of creating, CanonWars. I'm not surprised since he doesn't agree with the canon policy of neither the Paramount/Viacom (CBS) canon policy for Star Trek or the canon policy of Lucasfilm. Well, it's almost exactly three years ago that his site was the Awful Link of the Day over at SomethingAwful, so perhaps he wants to have another go.

Dear god but this man is insane.

When ballots have fairly and constitutionally decided, there can be no successful appeal back to bullets.

Oil an emergency?! It's about time, Brigadier, that the leaders of this planet of yours realised that to remain dependent upon a mineral slime simply doesn't make sense.

I clearly need to read this forum more often. Well, at least I have the excuse of recent travelling. I can't say for certain when I concluded for myself that Robert is insane, but I started to have dreadful suspicions about it not very long after I first met him here. For a long time, I couldn't decide for myself if he was a patological liar, just plain dishonest to the bone, or insane. I think it's a mixture of all of the above by now, and don't pay him much attention anymore - it just doesn't seem worth my time. However, when things surface like this, I can only shake my head at what he has become. If you can say that. He's never really changed, only gotten worse. Reading something about him is like watching a car accident - you don't really want to, but somehow you can't stop it. His own work is just too plain boring for me to bother with in its total, long-winded madness.
