SDN computer RPG questions
1. In the Square SDN game how does one beat Thanas in the boss fight?, I've even tried copy pasting Shep's Nuclear Attack
2. Is it true that the upcomming Bioware SDN game will have J. Hale doing the voice of Zaia?
3. I hear the release date for SDN: Brotherhood of the Monkey, Porn for the Porn God, has been pushed back yet again, does anyone know if it will ever be released?
2. Is it true that the upcomming Bioware SDN game will have J. Hale doing the voice of Zaia?
3. I hear the release date for SDN: Brotherhood of the Monkey, Porn for the Porn God, has been pushed back yet again, does anyone know if it will ever be released?

It's one of those annoying battles that you can't win and must lose in order to advance the plot. Don't be fooled by that Game Over screen - you might notice that something looked different about it, and you'd be right. Wait fifteen seconds and you'll be waken by Stas and his Soviet allies and then you can try the battle again. The Yosemite Bear wrote:1. However, I recommend doing Shroom's WHORES side-quest first before attempting it. Head towards the suspiciously suggestive double-domed structure. Can't miss it.
She was asked to do the voices for Jaeriusmuse, but Hale reportedly said in response, "[expletive] you. I have standards." According to rumor she later agreed to do the voice of Zaia but this has not been confirmed as of press time.Questor wrote:I thought she was doing J/Muse/Aerius?The Yosemite Bear wrote:2. Other tips for the Thanas boss fight:Mayabird wrote:It's one of those annoying battles that you can't win and must lose in order to advance the plot. However, I recommend doing Shroom's WHORES side-quest first before attempting it. Head towards the suspiciously suggestive double-domed structure. Can't miss it.
- As Mayabird suggested, completing the WHORES side-quest is highly recommended, as one of the many items you can gain from Shroom upon completing it is the Thanas/PeZook Slash Fic. Blackmail Thanas with it prior to the fight in order to enrage him, lowering his accuracy and defense but increasing his attack. However, it is also highly recommended that you not attempt to blackmail him if you have already shown him the Historically Inaccurate Roman Movie (see below). You can also gain a 1960s Graph from Shroom, which you can submit to Shep for his own side-quest (see below), along with the Breastbleeder and Dickstabber, which cannot otherwise be acquired at this point in the game.
- Showing Thanas the Historically Inaccurate Roman Movie prior to the fight will cause him to get violently drunk, lowering his accuracy and defense but increasing his attack for the duration of the fight (including the second attempt after Stas revives you). The effects of the Thanas/PeZook Slash Fic and the Historically Inaccurate Roman Movie do stack, which means that Thanas can and will OHKO you with his Germanic Oppression special attack if you're foolish enough to use both at once.
- If you have them, mechanical summons are a must, though some are more useful than others. The T-34/85 and IS-2 are by far the best choices; you even start out with a T-34/85 already deployed at the beginning of the second part after Stas revives you, and Stas also gives you an item that lets you call in additional T-34/85s or IS-2s if you don't have the ability to do so yourself. The Sherman with the Firefly or M50 upgrade can also work if you're of a sufficient level to use those upgrades. However, using any of the Panzers is generally a bad idea, as they suffer an increased chance of losing a turn due to one of Thanas' auras ("Overengineering"), and he will generally ignore them in favor of targeting you, which defeats the purpose of deploying them to absorb damage.
- Shep's Nuclear Attack cannot be used to its full potential until you acquire a complete set of 1960s Graphs and deliver them to Shep. The quickest way to acquire a set of 1960s Graphs is to complete some of Stuart's own side-quests; he will always give at least one graph as a reward for each completed task, with additional graphs if you complete them under a certain amount of time or with a certain number of casualties. Even though Nuclear Attack isn't a OHKO against Thanas or any other boss, it will still take away a good portion of his HP (over 50% with full optimization after delivering all graphs to Shep, assuming no other buffs or debuffs are in effect when used).
Jaeriusmuse is actually the only character(s) not to have ANY voice acting in the entire game. No voice actors were willing to debase themselves in such a manner, even after being offered very generous salaries.Mayabird wrote:She was asked to do the voices for Jaeriusmuse, but Hale reportedly said in response, "[expletive] you. In other news, preliminary reports are stating that Paul Eiding has been confirmed as the voice of Stuart. Meanwhile, Johnny Yong Bosch and Yuri Lowenthal have reportedly both been offered the part of Shroom, while David Hayter and Nolan North have both been approached for possible involvement with the project. We will bring you updates as the situation progresses.

Another tip for the Thanas fight is to not upgrade Stuart's ultimate attack to B-52s or B-70s until after the bossfight. Stuart's B-36 get a bonus against Germans.
Also, remember to use Shep's Summon German Shepherd Dog ability once per turn, you can do that and any other action.

Defeating Darkstar is rather easy.
When he starts throwing his spam attacks at you, turn your back to him. They explode around you harmlessly, causing him to fire more and more and more until he's exhausted.
Then just turn around, leap up, and bring down the Hammer on him. 1 shot, 1 kill.

Re: SDN computer RPG questions
Actually, that strategy was hinted at by some of the NPCs in the ASVS ruins, if you'd talked to them (I think one of them said something like, "Giving him attention gives him power, and his attacks are only in the mind," and one of them mentioned something about turning away from the darkness of stupidity). Of course, since you can access it so early on and there's never any real point to going later, it's easy to forget so that's okay.

Hmm, now that I beat Darkstar, I'm now trying the "Find Mike Wong!" side-quest. I know that I have to find several items, such as a black robe, a white "f" panel with blue background, and a SWTC, but I don't know where to start.

You'll need a Master Pokeball to catch him or he'll get away.Force Lord wrote:Hmm, now that I beat Darkstar, I'm now trying the "Find Mike Wong!" side-quest. Re: SDN computer RPG questions
While that master pokeball will guarantee a perfect catch on the first try, you only get one and you'll need it to get the NecronLord summons. Since you've completed the WHORES!!! sidequest by now (or you should, by any chance), go back and retrieve the whore dressed as a nurse by talking to her and picking that option now. As a party member, Nurse Mii has a pitiful attack and really weak healing spell access, so you'll suffer a bit in battle. But if she's in your party when you encounter Wong, there is a hundred percent chance that sixty percent of the time she'll make reference to wanting anal sex. This will immediately result in you winning the battle and the sidequest being complete as well as saving you your masterball.
Hope that helped!

Go to Internet Tryhard Town and find the NPC Norade and get him to teach you the ability "Backseat Modding", then perform this ability to any wandering NPC and you are sure to find the Daltonator.
As for acquiring him, well... that's another matter entirely. There is a fifty percent chance that he will acquire you instead.

I'm currently stuck in the Escape from Fundytown section, myself. I keep getting stunned by their Frustration attack, and slowly drained of life by their Brain Damaging Stupidity aura. I've tried just bludgeoning my way through, but then they suddenly get buffed by Legal Protection, and Kamikaze Sith ends up turning on me.
It quickly proceeds to Game Over from that point. Whats the best way to get through this?

Re: SDN computer RPG questions
It's very easy, actually. You need the aforementioned T-34 mechanical summons in a combo with those 1960s Graphs you get from Stuart or Shep, finish the HAB's Kill the Mecha Scum side-quest to get an armor modernization kit, and recruit NPC Stuart into your party. When you get Stuart, go to Marina, and it will trigger an automatic cutscene where Satan will appear above Fundytown and proclaim his lordship over Earths, then the fundies will kill themselves while Mike Wong suddenly appears and say 'Balls!' before blowing up a demons (no John you are the demons).
After this cutscene, the game begins The Salvation War chapter and really fighting the armies of heaven and hell is very easy, with your mechanical summons and HAB upgrades, it's more like farming. It's an excellent time to gain EXP since you can kill so many enemies without getting yourself hurt at all, so try to farm as much as you can. The only problem is that it takes lots of time and there are so many cutscenes where a lot of characters you've never seen before do a lot of talking, it's actually a bit like Metal Gear Solid that way. But it is also an excellent time to meet a lot of SDN NPCs like Kuroneko and Surtheles and they will give you Science Graphs and Hard Maths, which will be useful later against Trekkies in the Computing Asteroids part. You complete this chapter after you kill God and Satan. All the other non-dead fundies in Fundytown will be so enraged at that and you can then make it through Fundytown unmolested.
Hope that helps!

Did you talk to any of the Stuart's Fan Club members?Force Lord wrote:Question: Where can I acquire the TBO attack?
While we're on the topic, how many other people found the hidden arcade behind the Old School? It doesn't seem like many people have (and for good reason, since it's a freaking maze of Invincible Insurmountable Chain Link Fences back there and the jumping puzzles are absurd) but it is completely worth it. All those games there are playable. Every single one. Yes, those are the full versions of "Final Flamewar: Attack of the Trolls" and "Final Flamewar: The Fiver Menace" and the latter even includes the Zeon sidequest which was cut from the original release of the game because they couldn't meet the deadline. You can save in those games and come back to them later.
For added fun, pick up and carry off some of the games and try to give them to NPC Stark. Totally worth it.

PS I really don't recommend playing "Resident Evil but we let Bladed_Crescent go at it for a bit to spice it up" unless you don't scare easily at all or don't want to go to sleep for a while.

Surviving the Hippotheticel Senareos will give you endurance boosts as well as increase your EXP, and if you finish all of the Senareos, you also get a new summon called the RAR! HIPPO. Using it may impede your speeling and make you vulnerable to GRAMMER NAZIs though! But the RAR! HIPPO can shoot devastating LAYZORS which are effective for any non-GRAMMER NAZI opponents you may face.
Go to the NPC Malachuschus/Illya Morumets and he can photoshop my face into your RAR! HIPPO and make it able to call down the Thanas' Oppression on any threads you use it on.
Or you can do mini-games and play WALK SHEPPY-POOH'S PUPPY!
Try standing in front of a mirror in a dark room, hold a candle and say STAS BUSH three times!
In SDN City you will also win many whores if you do my Shroomy sidequests involving blowing up NPC FROD's gundamechanimumangoes with your mechanical T-34 summons!

If you read the letter that is on the top of the index pile, it's a request for information about he museum. Do the following before you do any of the other:
- As Stuart if you can take the plans to the museum to the artist.
- With the plans, you have to go to the university.
- Pick up the class list for the artist from the a terminal using the user ID "Tango-Julliet", and password "Password"
- Check the time on the carillon, to find out where the artist is. Most of the time he's in the Physics lab.
- If he's not where he should be on the schedule, check the bathroom on that level.
- Once you have the artist, escort him down to the library. There will be a some opposition on the way, so keep him alive.
- Once in the Library, take him to the print station on the lower level. He'll print the drawings for delivery back to Stuart.
- To get out of the library, the fastest way is to go up to the 5th floor (Via Stairs to the first, and then Elevator the rest of the way) and then over to the parking garage, as the door from the 3rd floor to the garage is one-way.
- The fifth floor bridge isn't on any of the maps (but can be seen from the building entrance.
- If you deliver a copy of the plans to Shep as well, after giving him 2 of Stuart's charts, he unlocks the HIBEX plans. Not useful for the Thanas attack, but useful for getting there.
