When I finally gain a mastery of time travel, I'll be sure to deposit that sign (with an explanation of course) back in the 1840s American South.

Because apparently they will rise again. In support of a black president. Oh the delicious irony.

I know it's a political cartoon, but the tic tac toe one is doubly hilarious for me because based on the position of the McCain/Obama heads, that position is very hard to contrive without Obama deliberately forgoing winning directly in order to put McCain in a No Win situation. Dick move, Barry, dick move. :D

I'm detecting a whiff of a 'neohippie' movement among the whippersnappers anyway. :P

To quote myself.

That is photo of a burned flag from someone's front yard after Oboma won the election, isn't it? If it was taken in Ogden, Utah then it needs to be mentioned what happened the next day. People brought and placed flags on their lawn.

It was posted on Pundit Kitchen back in July. I don't know where the original photo come from. Maybe after Katrina?

That's not burn damage. It's fading and wear from being exposed too long. Looks more like a flag that was left out in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina, and has been deteriorating ever since in front of a house that has never been reclaimed.
