Actually they are foes/occasional allies of a former Robin, dating back to the early 1980s....

To be exact Anders, they are "Deathstroke the Terminator" and his daughter the current "Ravager". gee doesn't Nightwing get all the good villians.

Well, they won't be in there. I'm going to keep the rogues gallery fairly small.

Hell really cruel would be pointing out that Gotham is also home to Hitman (Tommy Monahan), Solomon Grundy (unkillable unless your an elder god), and Etrigan/Jason Blood, not to mention a few WWII era folks (an ex-Green Lantern and his ex-Girlfriend/WWII's answer to poison Ivy)

Mind you if 47 REALLY wants a challenge, he could take on a master of assassins, his ninja daughters, and their whole army of followers. <Oh god did I just include Ras, Talia, Batgirl, Shiva, Cain AND Nyssa?>

Hey! Cass hasn't been 'on their side' for months now, and that was a horribly done "Plot Twist" which we needn't speak of ever again.

Ever.

Is she back to being Batgirl again then?

For the most part.

But they're having the writer who fucked her over in the first place writing a mini explaining in detail what happened while she was off screen, and using that as the basis on whether or not to relaunch an ongoing.

It's kind of like how Spoiler is just recently revealed to be Not Quite Dead.

Ghetto Edit:

She is currently working with Batman in "Batman and the Outsiders", but the callback to what happened makes it 'Iffy' in my mind.

Oh Jesus Fucking Christ!

Can't they just get a good editor in charge of all the Bat books and keep people from making really jackassed decisions in the first place?

While they are cleaning up that crap can they at least bring back Gotham Central? Or, are they too busy fucking over Montoya's character to do that?

They turned Montoya into a Female Legacy Character for the Question.

In other words, she now has a Death Clock.

I also miss Gotham Central (though it might have done better as an actuall TV show to screw over the Law and Order Monopoly).

Not to mention that Nyssa hates her dad, almost as much as Cassies parents hate each other.

WHAT?

They're undoing Spoiler's death?!

Already have.

They haven't told us HOW it happened, but in the latest Robin, she's up and kicking with nary a scratch on her.

Sadly, the Bat titles are pretty much again seperate universes...with only Grant Morrison's Batman RIP being the new crossover.

Currently The revival of Spoiler is being headed up by Chuck Dixon. Sadly, last issue I read(being Robin #172) had the last panel of Spoiler without her mask...and it looked awfully close to Steph. The funniest bit is issue #174 is supposed to be some grand revelation of who she truly is. Given track record of many ressurections it'll either be one of three things:

1. Twin Sister that knows everything.
2. Clone...same as above, but clone. Possibly Time displaced or dimensional displaced.
3. It's really her and Leslie Thompkins hid the body and healed her back to full health without anyone's knowledge. Perhaps evil villain funding.

Hoping it's the third. Might help to un-derail Dr. Thompkins' character screwing-over, too.

Cassies whole "Joining the Darkside" period was just cover for her to get ahold of a Lazerous Pit for an Steph-cicle.

And people wonder why I don't read Me comics anymore. leave alone the rest of the DCU.
I am SO moving to the Timmverse at the nearest opportunity.

So...Leslie Thompkins was still derailed, but Steph is back, and Cassie was never actually evil.

I have to say, two out of three characters salvaged ain't bad. Doesn't excuse the idiocy in the first place, but still.

Because I have a continuity memory that extends beyond five years, and too much respect for the characters. Hell even my DC fanfic they stay fairly well in character...

I'd agree. If the two characters were Cassie and Leslie. Steph didn't NEED to be salvaged, she just needed to be RESURRECTED (and I don't think she really needed any resurrecting to begin with-while having her around to complicate Tim's love life was interesting, IMHO the most impact she had on the DCU was when she DIED, showing that yes, Robining is one hell of a dangerous job. Especially when you're not really qualified to do it. As, unfortunately, Jason could tell you. )
It would be nice to know Cassie went bad just to revive Steph.
It would be NICER to know Leslie DIDN'T let Steph die for no other reason than to teach me a lesson (which would be TOTALLY out of character), and it would be even MORE nice to know she didn't do so at the behest of some supervillain or other (which would be even MORE out of character).
