Sheppard is the lead designer in ABM/LEO ASM missiles technology and is aiming to build a true missile shield. He has invested millions/billions into this endeavor and is building faster and higher intecerptors as time goes by.

Phongn is working along/side against Sheppard to get to the same goal

Coyote is doing non-stop pleasure cruises with his "assistants" and investing in the ABM shield.

Beowolf has spend billions in order to get a single photo-satellite in orbit, since it's does not orbit over Saddamistain or Shepnukistain it's not been shot down yet.

DarthShady has gotten himself into a lot of trouble, then out of trouble, then back in and is currently attempting to improve his economy

WesFox13 is currently attempting to pimp his island out as a tourist hotspot and is generally staying out of everyone's way. (You know what would draw people in Wes? Supervillian beach where you can see a Replica to scale of all ten wonders of the world! That's over your budget but it's a nice tacky tourist idea)

CmdrWilkens is engaged in a massive upgrading of his conventional military while portions of his Army are at the edge of revolt. People are viewing his actions with grave concern(IE Shep) but nothing has been done and his country is otherwise docile.


Baerne is producing his own native air force, it will take a long time, and it won't be cheap for his small nation. He is also sending what Navy he has abroad for peacekeeping duties.

Zor is doing political things

Mr Bean is driving ahead, building up the world's first GPS system, and launching his "Space for All" Initiative to let smaller nations get satellites into orbit without the massive costs to them that would render such tasks impossible. With a two trillion dollar economy he has sunk billions into ensuring that is the first to get into the satellite business for real in a serious way. He has had to scrap a goodly portion of his military in order to afford this

PeZook is dealing with internal unrest and flying around and brokering deals for ABM construction sites.

Shroom Man 777 is purchasing ABM equipment and also angling to get part of the ABM production facilities located in his country. He has also created automatic fishing machinery, no word yet on if it's effective or it contains kill all humans programing.

General Deathdealer is attempting to build a small elite group of commando's equipped with powered infantry armor, no word yet on how effect he will be.

Stas Bush is currently engaging in Internation wrangling and trading as well as investing in construction in the UKB

Deuce is in the bar getting drunk, is a day of celebration!

Me too. That Navy thing is somewhere on the financial borders of his possibility; and considering that the MESS is keeping so secretive that they didn't even post their alliance roster, why would we trust this buildup not to be something sinister?

- So how do you make these cool PRAVDA issues?
- Mostly use Corel. I do some web design as an additional task to architectural technology projects. If I'm short on time, I just write in text.

- Just what the hell does O.M.S.K. insignia mean? UN branches around a 5-point red star in a circle? That's fucked up isn't it?

- Basically that means we're like UN but more mean and badass. We're the military UN. We have a Security Council which doesn't have veto rights and everything is decided by a majority vote; no ties.

The star, well, if you know something, it signifies hope but also stands for things military.

The red color symbolizes the fraternization between OMSK nations; the willingness to shed one's blood for another brotherly nation.

The ring signifies unity. It's bizarre NATO look reminds once again that we're primarily a self-defense alliance; we don't interfere in the civilian life of our nations.

- And the JSEZ?

- The giant star-walking man? I thought it's pretty self-explainable in case you wonder what that is, it was a joint Soviet-France space mission in the real world.

The emperor thanks the Sovereign Duchy of Baerne for it's offer, but he would like to see if a cheaper deal can be made with Shroomania. Because the emperor is more interested in buying the ACV's instead of renting them.

[You're nation is buying arms and if you buy an ACV on the spot, your wallet is probably gonna have a hole burnt through it. You're nation's still fledgling and you have to be careful.

How about Baerne "lends" you an ACV. You won't pay for it entirely, but you'll make regular gradual payments, and eventually when you've paid for the whole thing, it's yours. The ACV will have Shadows in its crew so your people can learn from the ship and, when the ship is yours, your men will be ready to use it.

Eh, this revised deal can go to Baerne since they need the revenue. You know, the FUNGAL AXIS is supposed to be about member nations backing each other up.]

The battle armor is not for a small group of elite commandos. The battle armor is intended for all of our soldiers. We also plan on giving the designs to all of our alliance members. We plan on having a working copy of the armor in about a year.

That's because he can drive his economy into the ground doing the hard work, and then I can buy it off of him and prop him up when he's done.

Besides, I got my own stuff going on. Which I'll post about as soon as I figure out what I'm really doing in a realistic capacity.

Allow me to explain further. What you may see as militarization via these research products is anything but. The members of the MESS work together. That means, instead of me trying to juggle multiple R&D projects across several fields, I only need focus on a few at a time; others are picking up what I'm not doing. We then share in each others work. The same goes for manufacturing.

To be blunt, with Shep's stated intention behind the "Blackbeard" program as a means to "counter" the MESS, we have more reason to be worried than any of you. We're not after anybody, but everyone seems eager to be after us.

On an OOC level I can accept it all as Tithonus bowing out of the game, but from an in-universe perspective, wouldn't you find that a bit alarming? Shady, who's already shown his prediliction for jumping the gun, blew up pharmacutical plants in Mangka, on sketchy rumors. Prior to the JSEZ, Shep announced he owns space. All this military development, Shep's posturing aside, is far more ambitious than what we're up to.

Like I said, we have more reason to be worried here. We're not perfect in this either, but from where I sit it's rapidly turning into Everyone vs the MESS.

You say you want no trouble? That's fine. Myself, I'll do everything I can to not trigger a world war, because that's the last thing I want. But with these constant threats of our aggression when we've really not done a whole lot compared to the rest of you, it makes us very, very worried.
