Desired position: Siege Weapon Operator
Likely position: Anything else

Hilarity: Infinite

I'm signing up again, too! I can't wait to see what travails will come upon me and my fellow dwarves.

If he's taken the limiter off the elephants, "Hunter" is not a long term career.

Hell, even a map with wolves on makes it a risky proposition.

It'd be hilarious to be the Sheriff.

Think of all the cool and imaginative punishments you could devise.

Fuck it, it's Hammer time.

Ok, I know I lied. I said the update would have been yesterday, but it'll be today. Today will be a serious update, unfortunately, as hilarity usually happens after the first year.

<3 MRDOD. Last time my namesake was a farmer and did little of import, this should be more entertaining.

Ok, how does one change levels of the map, so that I can build down into the next levels?

Press ">" or "<" to go Down or Up, respectively, in Absolute Z-Levels.

As I stated in a prior post, build a Down Staircase on Level Z and an Up Staircase on Level Z-1 to open up Z-1. Without an Up Staircase you're down lower but standing on the ceiling of a solid cube of Z-1.

And you know what? Calculus test tomorrow. Fuck you Calculus, I'm playin' Dwarf Fortress.

Real Life can just sit the fuck down cause I'm not taking any delays more than I have already from fatigue-passing-out-yness. ^-^.

Update Hodiē.

Right, sorry to highjack, or whatever, but I need to chronicle this before I forget. Zin Bushhammer (or something like that) the human pikeman single-handedly sacked a goblin fortress, bringing hundereds of gold coins worth of trinkets to her home town, and earning the title, "The Lovely Slippery Face of Volcanoes." She then put a small band together and killed a cyclops in a cave without much trouble. I then attempted to save, and the game crashed. Argh!

How do you cause a cave-in now? Is it really just an unsupported section? I checked and that seems to be the only way. If so, wow... talk about an easy way to avoid them!

My solution is to farm on the top level, have the middle level be a siege corridor that leads to the bunker, and then have everything else basically in there.

BTW, is limestone the best stone to have? Or should I be paying attention to these dolomite deposits and shale deposits?

True that. I planned this weekend to update- had the window open to /posting.php and everything, but then I forgot I had to take the ACT also. This is the last week of the semester so once it's done and I'm on Saturnalian Break i will definitely recontinue.

:| Wow I managed to have to say that without even reaching the first Summer. Jesus.
