Actually it might be a good thing they are only talking about an Ork invasion. Heaven help Trek Earth if it was the Imperium of Man, Abbadons 13th Black Crusade or and equally large Necrontry or Eldar invasion force.

Actually I'm not even sure SFJ started it (if they mentioned me before L33t popped up to pull his Virus-X style BS I don't know - I didn't really bother digging that deeply nor do I intend to). For all I know they didn't start talking about me until I started critizing their insantiy in this thred (well, that and the Death STar thread ti seems.)brianeyci wrote:You're pretty fucking retarded aren't you. From what Connor's saying, and correct me if I'm wrong,l33telboi wrote:The second you see one of them badmouth me, I’ll guarantee you there'll be fireworks.
1. Starfleet Jedi guys diss him from their board, without using bad words but still saying bullshit about him. Also saying bullshit about other guys.
2. Connor disses Starfleet Jedi guys from this board, this time saying bad words.
3. You call Connor a coward for not going to their board to insult Starfleet Jedi guys.
4. Connor insults you.
This sequence of events has them as antagonists and Connor as the responder, with Connor discovering Starfleet Jedi only recently as he says himself. More importantly, it has YOU as the antagonist. So guess what? You're defending the dumbasses, so you get thrown in with the lot. Connor only returned the favor, and he's somehow a coward for it? You fucking anal piss. You make it sound as if there's some objective harm to insulting someone from another message board.
Why don't you live your own beliefs and go out and say it to people's faces you dick? Or is your position logically inconsistent as it obviously is?
I simply brought SFJ up "bitching" about people behind their backs both to mock them and mock l33t for his attitude (well that and the fact he seems to be scouring the internet in case someone MIGHT be talking about him behind his back, ,anyhow.)

Ah, so instead of you being a hypocrite, you're just the macho egoist brian thought you were. I stand corrected.l33telboi wrote: The second you see one of them badmouth me, I’ll guarantee you there'll be fireworks.
So basically you just obsessively scour the net checking to see whether people are talking about you "behind your back" as you claim it. I don't really see that as beign better than being a hypocrite, really. It actually sounds rather pathetic. You want me to crank down on everybody ever spewing shit about anyone? Who do you think I am, Jesus? No, I’m just as selfish as the rest of us, which means I only respond to people talking shit about me, that's why I mysteriously appear everytime my name is mentioned.
And I should care what you think.. why?No, I’m calling you a coward because you were talking about me, not SFJ. I called you out because you had the nerve to imply that I’ve been sniping people from afar (while indeed you were doing the very same thing - touché!).
Actually I do think its a tad odd that you seem to mysteriously appear Beetlejuice-style whenever anyone says your name. Its rather creepy actually, because it indicates that you are actually bothered by what people say on the net about you. Which as noted, seems rather silly and egotistical.Brilliant, Einstein! You're close, but not quite there yet. Let me give you that final little push in the right direction: I care when people snipe me, not SFJ or SDN or SB in general.
What you think it's just a coincidence I happened to pop in exactly when my name was mentioned? You think it isn't a tad odd I didn't appear before my name was mentioned. I mean 'my friends' were already being insulted long before then.
But again, why the fuck should I care what you think?
Way to go not answering the question. Why the fuck are you entitled to either respect or politeness out of me when you never demonstrate you are worhty of either? Particularily, as I've noted, that I don't consider your attitude in debates to be parrticularily respectful of me? Or is it that you're just arrogant enough to think that only your opinion matters?Does it say "Jedi Master Spock" where my username is? If it doesn't, do you think it means something? Is it, perhaps, relevant? You have every right to go there and do whatever you feel is necessary, just as I came here. I'm not stopping you. How could I even?
If you have a gripe with JMS, then bring up with him (or stay here, whatever you feel you need to do). I’m not your fucking errand boy. And I’m not JMS.

Said it, no. But you've amply demonstrated it on more than one occasion. The most immediate examples that pop into my head were your inability to grasp concepts like conservation of momentum (When you tried calcing the Oddyssey's shields based on the ASgard planet blowing up - then again CoM wasn't the only thing you had trouble grasping there.) I also recall you trying to argue the SGA "First Strike" Mark IX's were really teraton range explosions, despite the fact the fireballs didn't persist nearly that long, and we saw none of the secondary effects we'd associate with such massive explosions. There are probably others I'm not remembering, but take your pick.I can't recall I’ve ever said any such thing. But maybe you can refresh my memory on where that happened?

I love how they arbitrarily assume that ork 'Roks' (converted asteroids for those who don't (and probably don't want to) know about 40K sillyness) are essentially asteroids no more than ten kilometers across. Because it's not like the Krork have a fixation with picking the biggest things they can find. And it's not like every depiction of them hasn't included entire derelit starships bolted in and huge armour plates to provide living space, reactors and protection... Oh wait.

Oh... God. They've a 'Time War Daleks vs the UFP and GE' thread... And of course they're making the UFP out to be the heavy hitters. At least the GE can equal or exceed the firepower of a single dalek starship with its heavy battlestations.
And of course, the borg are going to assimilate the daleks. It's not like the daleks, can say, fly away from it, is it... Or that it's stated on screen (with charred corpses later) that they have the ability to incinerate anyone who touches them without big insulating rubber gloves...

Because it's not like we've seen ultra-dense materials, chain-reaction weirdness weapons, or trans-dimensional bomb thingys. Oh wait.2,400 tons of total conversion bombs is 2e23 joules, or 50 teratons. This is the absolute upper limit by this estimate.

I did notice they called the "high end" BFG figures (like the nova cannon one) suspicious, which is funny, considering the BS they make up. Spock's common MO in "Dealing" with other 'verses agianst Trek is to try to muddy the waters by claiming to have "seen other calcs that say otherwise" or suggest that there is something wrong with the existing calcs. consistency is anathama to him, I would imagine.
I suppose it didn't occur to him that a nova cannon uses the ship's engines to counter recoil. This alone tells us that comparable energies will be involved both ways (firing the shell and in the engines compensating recoil.) Which gives us a very close indicator of power generation (since the engine thrust will require a very short-term application of energy, nevermind the nova cannon.) and thus firepower (weapons batteries and lances can take more than one second to recharge, even allocating full power to the weapons.)

Hold on, the 10 million ship strong Time War Dalek fleet? The Dalek fleet that could roll over the GE like it was an aluminum can on the highway? The fleet that took the most powerful race ever (And face it, ONE time lord with unfriendly intentions could screw the UFP, Hard) making the ultimate sacrifice to defeat? Daleks are basically ultra-tech armored fighting vehicles. Have you ever seen a Borg touch-assimilate an AFV, or any vehicle or spaceship for that matter? I didn't think so.NecronLord wrote:

Said Daleks have also shown a far greater capacity and aptitude for time travel than the Borg ever have, and guess what, we saw that a single event, by a relatively minor change in history, utterly screwed the UFP up. I can't even begin to imagine what would happen with the Daleks.Darwin wrote:Hold on, the 10 million ship strong Time War Dalek fleet? But then again, these are rabid Trekkies to the extreme. Anyone who can argue with a straight face that the Culture loses to the UFP obviously has brain damage.

Yep. That's the one. Though recall, ten million ships is probably a lower limit. That's how many the Doctor destroyed in the final battle. I don't want to consider how many the Time Lords' military might have done for before that.Darwin wrote:Hold on, the 10 million ship strong Time War Dalek fleet? As for a single Time Lord. I can't help but think of Last of the Time Lords where the Master enslaves the human race, and builds (IIRC, thousands) of warships containing black holes. Mind you, I expect the Toclafane did most of the mental labour there.
When I get home, I might type up the intro to the 'Dalek Empire 4' (Yay!) version of Space Marines the Earth Alliance builds to fight daleks. Armoured fighting vehicles is right...

JMSpock's really going off the deep end these days:

JMSpock: Prove? You're talking as if this isn't fiction.
I'm not even sure if I should bother responding to that.

Just imagine the Klingon High Council. Fighting Commissar Yarrick.
Yarrick wouldn't even need the augmetic claw of doom, or comically hefty gun, He could dispose of them in short order with his eye-laser.
And just imagine him with his custom-baneblade, with a huge horde of klingons on the horizon.

Besides, the fucking Klingons would fall over and freaking die on Armageddon, you can't walk around in the open most places unless you've got some form of rebreather and your skin is totally covered.
Obviously Orks aren't that bothered.
