I'd be on the other side of the globe, so unless we're already there when the outbreak hits Toronto, there's not much point discussing this. As I say, it could be the odd bizarre murder in the suburbs over a few days before a sudden invasion of the undead appear and catch the city unawares.

I know reading about something like that in the local papers would likely put off a meeting, but I'd expect the resident SDN members there to shun it as just a typical, albeit sicker, psycho serial killer.

"Alpha Team is flying over the forest zone situated in North-West Toronto, where we are searching for the helicopter of our compatriots, Bravo Team, who disappeared during the middle of their mission. Bizarre murder cases have recently occurred in the suburbs. There have been outlandish reports of families being attacked by groups of about ten people. Victims, were apparently eaten. Bravo Team was sent to investigate, but we lost contact."

You can run up? Now that's impressive.
A Government founded upon justice, and recognizing the equal rights of all men; claiming higher authority for existence, or sanction for its laws, that nature, reason, and the regularly ascertained will of the people; steadily refusing to put its sword and purse in the service of any religious creed or family is a standing offense to most of the Governments of the world, and to some narrow and bigoted people among ourselves.

What? I'm not on the list? Well. No more assistance for any of you people. Get zombified. I'll be in the nuclear bunker in the middle of the remote wilderness down here.

ISARMA: Daikaiju Coordinator: Just Add Radiation
Justice League- Molly Hayes: Respect Hats or Freakin' Else!

We're in a bar to start with, grab as much dry ice and plastic bottles as you can.

Well as an aside if you did you could zombify one version, put the two identical copies against each other and see how one zombie vs. one human faired in a truly fair combat.

Most likely you'd all die, or at least most of you would. A group that large would probably splinter off into several factions, and someone would do something stupid that would lead to the collapse of the rest of the faction.

You could probably look at it from three views;

1) Survival by being a heavily armed nomad
2) Survival by being a heavily armed/defened stactic pos
3) Survival by fleeing like a sonnabitch.

The third option is eventually going to turn into either the first or the second, because, eventually, you're going to have to find supplies, and to do that, you're going to need to be able to either plant and harvest, which requires a heavily defended static position, or be able to move freely to hunt, which requires the impunity of movement given by heavy arms.

#3 probably stands more chance of becoming a deadhead more than anyother, but I can see some people doing it none the less.

But we're rational, right? So we wouldn't go option three, right?

I wouldn't, nor would a concil others to, but you never know about people.

I'll just try to stay out of the way while you guys kill the walking undead. I'm not sure what I can contribute, I can cook pretty well and help organize and move stuff around but I'm not that good with weapons.

Your cute, we can use you as bait. All you have to do is say out loud that your going in that dark place or alone 'in there' or even a basic 'I'll be right back' and that'll bring them out in droves.

At least that's what horror movies have taught me. :P

Sadly, in the event of the near-complete destruction of humanity, it will become essential to have every woman have as many children as possible with every viable partner in order to have a hope of establishing the genetic diversity a population will need for long-term viability.

I foresee a massive internal split over this, especially if someone is as tactless about presenting this unpleasant conclusion as I just was.

By all means, if my assessment of the situation is incorrect, let me know.

And what's the percentage of women who're going to be there? Something like 7-10%?
