Oh, don't be a wet blanket! Come up with something, at least one thing, that you do well, Spanky! This thread is positive; don't bring it down like that. I mean, come on, who else rescues panties the way you do? :D

I'm tired and lazy, so I'm going to use my skill of passing off others' work as my own, while remaining distant enoguh to not be bollocked if it all goes pear-shaped.
Avalon616 wrote: + I'm a good cook. I haven't been to school for it, I considered it, but I didn't want to make a career out of it. Occasionally I make mistakes, but overall, I made a damn good meal.
Yes, me too. I'm infamous for my "deathcore" tendencies in cooking. "Deathcore" is what I call anything I throw a load of chilli an garlic at, in a tongue-in-cheek mockery of the way metal music is categorised.
+ I'm a natural learner. Like others have posted, through high school I'd ace tests, and not do homework, and balance out my grade with high 80's. Only later into college have I actually had to *study*.
Yep, me too.
+ I'm a good teacher, I'm great at tutoring and teaching classes, and helping people understand things.
2*me
+ I'm a good public speaker. I'm not great at it yet, but with practice, I will be.
I'm not really a great public speaker. I'm much more a careful manipulator of events through subtlety, though only when I want something out of someone. Unfrotunately, this can lead me to obsess over what I'm going to say and can end up backfiring in my face through fear of going wrong. But yeah, in general, I'm good at observing people and figuring out what will get good or bad reactions out of them.

That said, I am often very blunt simply because it's easier and has more impact. I don't actually manipulate people, though I can and have done in the past. I do generally use my powers for good, like reuniting estranged friends, and helping people talk about things.

As an extension of speaking, I think my singing is really rather asskicking.
I think I'm reasonably creative. With practice, I could be a decent artist, and my prefered mediums are photography, acrylics, and chalk pastels.
Same with me, though my preferred medium is sketching and I would really like to write and draw comics one day. Ghost Rider says I'm ahead of most Marvel writers, so that can only be a good thing. :D
I'm amazing at "knowing things". I have an astounding amount of random trivia I keep in my ass, that I can whip out at any time. At work, they call me the "Answer Girl," cause as one of the girl's put it, "Dammit, she knows everything!" It's amazing, cause I have a crappy memory in general. *Rimshot*
Yep, that's me too. Not unlike Donnie Darko, actually. My knowledge tendrils permeate all sorts of shit outside of sports, and I recall all sorts of disparate shit quite specifically then forget what I'm doing in the middle of it.
Unfortunately, it seems all my talents are other people's talents. I need new and creative talents!
I hate having talents that other people have, it's one of the few things in the world that has ever made me competitive. Oh, and the drag thing makes me pretty unique, so that's one more thing I think I pwnz0r at.

I'm told I'm very witty and unique from time to time.

Let's see...

- Editing text. I'm a fair-to-middling writer of original material, but I'm much more adept at taking someone else's text and making it better. I can't see the problems with my own work as well as I can see the problems with the next guy's stuff.
- One liners. I can take just about any situation, sift through my repertoire of jokes, and come up with the right combination that makes people laugh. This might not be an entirely unique talent, but I'll take credit for it anyways.
- Fixing things with whatever's available. Call it "MacGyvering" if you like, but I can use the most bizarre combination of materials and tools to make repairs.

That's about it. Sad, I know, but we all have our limitations.

Ooh, one more:
- Voice. I have one of those deep radio-guy voices. I've had it since I was about 15. In fact, I'd love to try voice-over work, if anyone knows how to get into that.

- I am a great listener and have been told I give great advice.

- I'm a great cook, or at least my husband loves my meals, I love them too.

- I have been told I'm a fun person to be around

- I'm a good mother.

- I'm awesome at giving back rubs, shoulder rubs, foot rubs. I am always asked to do so by everyone I know, and been told by them all that I should be a massuse.

- I'm funny

*thinking*
hmm... I'll add more if I think of more ;)

@Lagmonster, I love Balderdash!! *BTW you spelled it wrong :P* I would play it if I could find someone to play it with me :D.

(One thing that sticks out in my mind and makes me laugh everytime I think of that game is one of my cousins defined the word "mumblecrust" to be the remnants left in your underwear if you don't change them often enough)
We kept that card for the longest time. I think I have the game here somewhere too, it might still be in the box ;) We all had a great laugh at that one.

-I know a whole bunch of useless historical facts. And right, now, I'm studying some usless facts on music throughout history.
-I was told that I have a good sense of humor. Unfortunately, I have the personality of a dead pigeon, so anything I say completely sucks the humor out of a joke.
-I'm creative, I suppose. After all, I managed to get this list up to three. That accounts for something, right?

Draw stuff. Been doing that since I could hold a pencil.

I can break into my own car if I get locked out of it away from home. It's never taken me more than 10 minutes and never need to damage stuff or break windows to get in. All I need is a grocery store nearby.

Kids seem to like it when I'm around. When I pick up my 2 year old son at day care, most of the other kids flock to me for unknown reason. Rubbed off on my son as well, the 1 year olds and below like to crawl to and climb all over him when he arrives.

+ I make an excellent cappuccino, and an even better mocha. I'm really good at the barista thing.
+ I have a way with kids. A good way; almost all kids of any age love me.
+ I'm good at dealing with problems when I feel it is needed. I'm not overly confrontational, nor do I shy away from or avoid addressing issues.

  • I can collect and accumulate anime pictures faster than the US national debt can grow. Approx 51,000 pictures and climbing. I had 40,000~ six months ago.
  • If I'm motivated to learn it, I learn it. Fast.
  • I can stop doing something for a few weeks or months, come back and find myself lightyears better at it then before. Some sort of silent learning or practice, I guess.

Depending on the subject at hand, I can bullshit my way through an assignment in a manner you wouldn't believe.

I'm also a fairly good writer, given some of the comments that've been made over the years - enough for a piddlin' little award at my high-school graduation, which was still a nice thing in itself (of course, the hundred bucks' reward might've had something to do with that).

I can edit and sort through pornography and artwork ith supreme efficiency. Cropping and editing each and eery piece down to the last pixal, assigning it an appropriate file name based on the source and he subject matter, setting it in its proper folder - I've got at least a hundred hours' worth of time under my belt.

I can sort through non-erotic materials ith an even greaer level of efficiency (I'm talking about an entire library's' worth of newspaper articles in a matter of hours, given new folders, placed in alphabetical order, shifted around for better removal, and making face covers for the cabinets they were sitting inn.

I can find most anything from within a mess. Everybody thinks that pile of stuff on the bed's just a heap of clutter, but there's a method to my madness, and I can perform a dump dive and pull out the desired article faster than anyone else.

I can map out an RPG character's progression with considerable accuracy and efficiency to achieve maximum twinkage.

Like others before me, I have the unerring ability to completily slack off in terms of classwork and actually paying attention while maintaining great academic scores (I used to piss off my elementary-school teachers all the time with this one: I'd be reading a book in the middle of class, the teacher would come down on me with some question, and I'd answer it without lifting an eye from the text). Interestingly enough, the more I seem to focus on doing something the orse I seem to do...
This has been another blunder by you friendly local idiot.

I have found this amazing list of talents:

- I am the go to guy (both at Penney's and the Marine Corps) for anything involving computers.

- I am also the go to guy for organizinf, charting, spreadsheeting, and otherwise making sense out of a mess.

- I have a way with customers that makes every single one leave the store feeling better about themselves and the service they got, I don't say this litely because we have some pissy people as our customers.

- I have the ability to smile in the face of my most hated enemy and make them think they are my best friend.

- I can spin a web of bullshit so thick that the average person is incapable of realizing I didn't actually say anything.

- I can perform a closing argument like no one's buisness and yet I've never yet taken the LSATs :D (love ya hon)

I'm sure I could expound some more but that's really enough for now.

I'm told that I am:

- Hilarious in a very oddball off-the-wall standup comedian way.
- Quick to learn and good at retaining information, as well as applying it.
- Courteous.
- A good cook.
- Generous with what I have.
- A giver of useful advice, or a good person to rant at.
- A talented artist.
- A very well-presented public speaker.
- Shameless (which can be good or bad depending) and assertive.

I don't know of any of that is true, however.
"The rest of the poem plays upon that pun. On the contrary, says Catullus, although my verses are soft (molliculi ac parum pudici in line 8, reversing the play on words), they can arouse even limp old men. Should Furius and Aurelius have any remaining doubts about Catullus' virility, he offers to fuck them anally and orally to prove otherwise." - Catullus 16, Wikipedia

'Dish pig' is a slang term for the person who washes the dishes at a restaurant. I had a part-time job doing this when I was at univerisity and I got very good at it. Hence 'Jedi dish pig'. It was a bit of a joke between myself and one of the other dishies, who was... well if Obi Wan Kenobi was a dish pig, he'd be this guy.

Jedi dish-pigging mostly involves harnessing the power of the force to make dirty dishes clean very quickly, crushing the self-esteem of the waitstaff and generally being a complete and utter bastard/bitch.
After all, this is completely straightforward. What could possibly go wrong?
