Huge effigy of Theresa May flicking the V sign erected on the White Cliffs of Dover. Yes, really!
Can I go back to Green Acres instead of a gritty modern reboot of Whoops Apocalypse, please?

There's a storm heading that way tonight, so it'll probably end up flying away and impaling a school child.

I'm clear: if human rights laws get in the way of tackling extremism and terrorism, we will change those laws to keep British people safe.
Man, you Brits really seem to like voting for a police state.

It looks like the votes going to be close which may lead to my worst case scenario, neither of the main parties getting a majority and the SNP ending up as the kingmakers.

What would be so bad about that? An SNP/Labour coalition sounds awesome to me.

Given I live in Scotland and don't think independence is a good idea I think that given the SNP monomania on the issue the cost of any support would almost certainly be independence, likely without another referendum if they could manage it.

If it goes the same way as the Lib Dem/Tory coalition did, the SNP will get wiped out in the next general election.

Sadly that's nothing new, the Conservatives had promised to scrap human rights laws in the last election too.

I'd be more worried Labour would be the one to take the hit, they would likely have to hand another independence referendum to the SNP and be labelled as traitors to the union as well as more or less giving up any hope of ever going above the border again

The SNP didn't even have IndyRef2 in their manifesto. Bit worried by Ruth Davidson being vaguely popular, me thinks.

Remember to vote labour today, or the libdems or whatever it takes to not vote tory evil hellfuckers into power. This is perhaps your last chance UK, this is your Bernie Sanders moment.

I dont think Bernie Sanders is a good example to follow.

Nevertheless done my civic duty and pointlessly voted in my tory safe district.

*shrug* Win or lose, Sanders, Melenchon in france, now Corbyn in the UK, they all show a resurgence and a desire for change of the not Donald Trump or Le Pen kind, especially among the young.

Voted first thing this morning. Kind of torn really - I would like to vote Lib Dem, but the local candidate is such a total non-entity I never even saw any election mail from him. So instead voted Labour,as our local MP does at least do a solid job representing the area. Voting the man not the party I suppose.

Baltar: "What are you babbling about other...it's impossible!"
Centurion: "No. It is a Battlestar."

Lib Dem for me, after some agonising. Heart said Labour, head said tactical.

Given the seats been blue since 1924, I'm not expecting much.

Wanted to vote Labour, tactically could vote Labour. Voted Labour. Tory seat since 1918 so yeah not expecting much either.

Lib Dems annoyed me when Farron criticised Corbyn on the fees and foreign policy issues, like they're itching to get back in bed with the Tories.

Can't say I'm looking forward to the exit poll. Atleast it'll be a good encouragement to go to bed on time!

SNP looks like they're losing a lot of seats.
