I don't think so. I think it's part and parcel with the image. After all, he appears to be Old Scratch and is looking for souls to steal. It's an easier aquisition if he puts up a friendly image.

Thats my bosses office. You should see mine. She told me to get a candy dish so it would apear more friendly. I came back with a brushed stainless steal bowl, I was told it wasn't friendly enough.
