Good question! The answer is I (accidently) conducted an experiment about a month ago wherein I found out that, shocker of all shockers, Manhattan Clam Chowder applied liberally (read: spilled) on a DSL modem does not facilitate internet access.... in fact the effect is rather the opposite.

And so now, having caught up on a bunch of shit I was unable to do whilst without access to the ever lovable internet, I am back.
