I look outside my window and what do I see, for the first time in over a year, it's snowing!!!

While I doubt it'll even get to a half inch, it's nice to see a little of it.

Yeah...I already got my spinkles of white on the ground.

Made a nice look on Sunday night into Monday morning.

I'm sorry, I can't hear you since my ears froze shut in the -40 degree cold snap the other day.

Cool. <--- Pun intended.

Where I am, we had below-zero windchills on Monday, but the weather didn't have the decency to make it snow in the area. And if that isn't insulting enough, the temperature over the week is expected to rise above freezing, just in time for Christmas.

3rd snow shower here. I think some of it is still on the ground.

It may snow this year for Christmas in my part of Louisiana; it would be the first snow in 15 years.

Snowed multiple times here, one resulting in a snow day. :)
Shoveling the driveway is EVIL though. Pure evil.

First and foremost, snow knows where it can cram it.

Secondly, it's been snowing for a week here. That son of a bitch.

Oh when will my snow come? WHEN?

Every day I sit next to the window like a wide-eyed child, just waiting for that first sprinkle of winter snow.

When you move out of Florida of course. If you're about college age I'd suggest finding a college in the northeast, plenty of snow up in those states.

And it's snowing nicely over where I live, and I'm never getting into my BF's car again when it's snowing because he drives like a psycho and did a donut in the movie theatre parking lot, and as if that wasn't enough he then drove to an empty arena parking lot to spin his car around some more.

I love living in Georgia. All the miserable cold weather, none of the fun snow.

If someone is feeling snow deficient you are welcome to come to my area and take some of ours - Michigan City, Indiana had 27 inches this Monday (call it about 2/3 of a meter for you metric types). 1-3 feet more expected tonight. White-out conditions. They closed the Interstate and Tri-State toll roads. A couple dozen people spent the night in their cars, they were so stuck. Very messy.

Temp is 15F/-10C according to the bank clock/thermometers... and dropping rapidly. Wind is rising.

That "artic blast" that dropped snow as far south as New Mexico today is colliding with relatively warm air over Lake Michigan. I expect odd effects like ice fog and "sea smoke" to show up as well. Such variety of weather we get around here!

-43 today. Possible to get frostbite in under 10 minutes.

It's supposed to be -49 with the windchill tomorrow due to extreme winds. At that tempeture, it's possible to get frostbite in under 5 minutes.

Be glad you live in a place where it does not snow often.

Here in Okinawa, no snow, of course.

And all the pussy American kids who have been here so long start moaning about the freezing weather when it gets to be 60 degrees out.

That's not COLD. That's not even COOL. COLD is when you spend ten minutes walking to school and you can't move your arms and you need to wait twenty minutes to speak because your lips are frozen over.

We had snow last night and early this morning. Colorado weather likes to stay dry until right before the holidays.

Meh, I've been playing with snow since August. Then again, I work at an ice rink. I have the ever wonderfuljoy of going to work and being annoyed with the state of "FUCK! It's WARM!"

It's currently 9F here with 16 MPH winds, -8F wind chill. It's supposed to be 4F with 18 MPH winds tomorrow. No snow as far as I can tell, fortunately.

Eleven inches on the ground when I measured three hours ago. No, it was not a drift.

There's still a little bit of snow on the ground from a few days ago. Most of it melted though. There's probably gonna be ~50 F temps between now and X-mas, thus causing mud and leading to this song
I'm dreeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaamin' of a broooooown christmaaas!
