woke up at 5:45 this morning, shaving 2 hours of possible sleep I could get before my final marathon, due to a particularly vicious nightmare.

sometimes I have bad dreams, sometimes I scare myself awake. this was the second.

I have just spent 20 minutes combat gliding around my house, turning on every light, and I nearly killed my cat. she walked off the microwave in a dark room, and I nearly attacked her.

when your prepped, its *amazing* how fast your adrenaline can spike. I must have taken 5 complete breaths in the time it took for the cat to take 1 foot.

not going back to sleep anytime soon though.

for those who are interested in the nightmare itself, picture dawn of the dead directed by dahmer. yeah. good stuff.

hope not.

I put it down to stress - I get them when I have things piling up.

during my depressed insomnia phase, I had them weekly. hence I didnt sleep much.

although, the dream could be described early on as PCU by way of dahmer. only at the end did it go DotD

I had two dreams last night that somehow mixed together Cowboy Bebop and characters from I Love Bees. I'm not sure if it's a good thing I forgot the details.

I once hallucinated (as it looked so real) that my room was filled with spiders crawling the wall and over me. I even could feel them crawling over me. I panicked, jumped out of bed, searched for the light. When the light was on there was nothing offcourse. But DAMN it looked so real

I only recall ever having one nightmare, when I was much younger. Some man eating gorilla was terrorizing kids in some non existent neighborhood that I lived in. The thing chased you down, ripped open it's own stomach and stuffed you inside. I woke up when the bastard finally caught me after a terrifying chase.

Imagine waking up as 10-12 years old and having to go to the washroom after that...I recall sitting on the can looking outside the bathroom (house pitch black of course) and shaking like a leaf.

Never had a nightmare before or since. Think I had this one after watching some horror movie ("Friday the 13th" I think).
