I apologize if this has been listed before.

On Tuesday(12th) at Toys R Us the Episode 2 dvd will be available for $9.99 while supplies last. This is valid in the U.S. and I don't know about elsewhere. Thought you guys might want to know.

It's quite a bargain at $9.99. BUt, I don't want to be "emarrased" at Toys R' Us. I'll just have my mom go in there and get it for me.

I'm worried about buying DVDs from Walmart as they have a habit of editing them.

Yes, hey edit almost everything that they can, they probably couldn't get away with AOTC. They don't edit games cause people would be pissed,

I dunno some clause with retail stores can edit and withhold shit. This mostly happens in the outh.

Ok I'm a little confused on this. Do they go in and change the actual movie on the DVD? I didn't think they had the right to do that. Do they even have the equipment to do that?

I do not really too be honest. all I know they can't edit them without consent from copyright authorities. And all Wal-Mart has everything they rule the World.*Twilight Zone Theme*

I just picked up the dvd here in Australia, and I found it interetsing that it has been classified here as M15+ for "Adult Themes".

Isn't it the head butt and the decapitation that are a bit much for Australia's sensibilities? :D

I think our censors are more ok with rude words and less ok with violence than in the US.

Actually, they can't edit the movies because thats a copyright violation. Remember what happened when some company deleted the nude scene in Titanic and tried to market it? :D

Wal-mart can't sell edited movies because they would be sued in a new york minute.

Note in a NEW YORK minute. Not a Southern state minute. :P

Bah, I had 2 copies on reserve at Suncoast (one for me, one for a friend). And I was pleasantly surprised today when I picked them up when I was rewarded with a plush/velet drawstring bag that contained a pewter Clone Trooper Helmet key chain, and a pewter Obi-Wan (padawan) lightsaber key chain, AND a cd-rom for the computer. I got two sets BTW, one for each DVD I reserved.

I would say that was worth my 20 bucks.
